I'd call the terrorists and convince them that taking down the entire abomination known as the Westboro Baptist Church was a much more important objective. That way both parts would be happy and world peace would've been achieved.
I would get a stealth bomber modified to dock with other planes, then get a crack team of commandos led by Steven Seagal, with Kurt Russel there in an advisory position. Then when all the commandos are on board except Steven Seagal, the hatch would blow up or something, killing him as he sacrificed himself for his team. Then, without a leader, the commandos would turn to Kurt Russel to lead them, and with the help of a super-hot half-black stewardess, Kurt Russel would save the day by correctly identifying the leader and killing him. oops, this is the plot to Executive Decision.
Oh well, in that case I would send an AC-10 after the plane and shoot it down. Cause not only will the dam breakage kill loads of people, the loss of electricity to most of the west coast would cause a social breakdown of epic proportions, resulting in the loss of possible millions of lives.

Ok 90 minutes? I only need 85 of them.
Get a small plane to get me to the plane and then as we catch up I'll tell the pilot to get as close to the door as possible. I would then jump to the door and then use my spay gadgets to open the door. As I get in I neutralize the terrorists and fly the plane back to it's destination(with the door safely closed). I would then be a hero and live my life knowing I did a good thing.

Fuck morality. If people are gonna die either way, the more altruistic choice would be to save as many people as possible. Whether the plane is shot down or it crashes into the dam, practically ALL THE PASSENGERS ARE GOING TO DIE ANYWAY.
So by not shooting down the plane, you're just a fucking weakling who hides behind morality just so he can blame it on someone else instead of taking the responsibility.

either way the people on the plane are going to die so I would shoot it down and save the Earth from damage.
Shoot the plane down, what other choice is there? They have no reasons to not fly it into the dam, only physically preventing the plane from reaching it's target will work.
