Quickly, society is collapsing, and it's up to you to save one DVD from your collection for posterity! Basically, choose the DVD that you most want to survive throughout the ages, that future generations need most, knowing that all other stories mankind has ever made are at risk of fading from the collective human memory.

Huh, I get to mention the same film three times in one night. Anyway, I'd save <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.231661>Snow Angels. I love that film. =D

Since my DVD collection is really small, "The Best of Adam Sandler: SNL".

That may not be what society would want, but I could watch it the longest in a broken society without me getting bored.

Can I save a box set collection of DVDs? I'd hate for the entire Star Wars Original Trilogy to be lost.

If I am limited to a single disk, I'd save Empire Strikes Back.

The original Star Wars trilogy so that it will be how it finally should be, with just 3 original Star Wars movies. But if I could only grab one then A New Hope.

EDIT: Ninja'd! Well except I would take A New Hope but still. Darn ninja's!

The Original Trilogy. Future generations will believe that we fell much farther down the technological scale and will endeavor to reach such heights once more.

Also, Jedi and Sith as religions.

So, basically, 'What's your favourite film?'. Dull question.

Children of men is a good one, though.

Big Lebowski - no question

Not really, just one that you'd want to watch over and over. It's slightly different. I'm not 100% sure that the Big Lebowski is my number one favorite, but I wouldn't want to live without it.
