I got that idea from an interesting book about mages and sorcerers I was reading...
I would be a lethal assassin, albeit only one who works for those want done what I feel is good for the innocent people. I am not violent by nature, but would see the ugly side of the world. I would make the world a very dangerous place for the malicious and malevolent, but it would be to alleviate the suffering of the innocents oppressed by these people.
