I'm currently reading Battle Royale by Koushun Takami (It's my second read through and still loving it), The Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of The Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien (Just started it), Harry Potter and the Order of The Phoenix by J.K. Rowling and Death Note Manga Vol. 2 by Tsugumi Ohba (Loved the anime).

Really? what do you recommend by him?

As for McCarthy I would say to check out:
Suttree (Keep in mind, this book is HARD to wrap your mind around)
All the Pretty Horses
The Road
No Country for Old Men (If you haven't seen the movie)
Most all of his Discworld series (especially Night Watch, Small Gods and Thief of Time). That said my comment was kind of tongue in cheek because I really don't have an author thats such a favourite I could say they were the greatest ever. Have to look into McCarthy though.
Cool man, I will be sure to check one of those out
Bear in mind they're totally comedy novels. Very clever and well written ones, but basically comedy nonetheless.

Reading through the James Bond books right now, they're awesome, I'm on You Only Live Twice.
Also, not a novel, but I'm also reading Death Of A Salesman for English, so far it's good!

A Resident evil Novel, that I bought from a shop called forbidden Planet in Belfast, that place is awesome, although I like the one in Dublin more.

'Druid's Sword', the last book in the 'Troy Game' by Sara Douglass.

Probably my favourite series by her. Starts from the ancient founding of London and goes right through to the Blitz in WWII. Friggin' fantastic fantasy.
