UGH! I'll put it this way. I like skinny girls, but when I say skinny I mean girls who's goddamn ribs aren't showing.

That is just unhealthy and scary at times. I mean c'mon I have no problem when Women have nice curves, such as The Butt, Hips, Thighs, or Bust and even cheeks that aren't sunken in.

There's a two main reasons that sort of combine to produce a culture where it's 'best' to be skinny, although only one has any real connection to this crazy little thing I like to call 'not being batshit insane'.

1. This is the one most closely associated with sanity, namely that from a whole population point of view then it makes sense that there are some men find skinny women more attractive in the same way that it's a good thing that not all women find ripped body builders to be the epitome of sexy. To spell it out, it's a way to avoid too much fighting over a mate.

2) Fashion. As most designers of 'haute couture' and catwalk fashion will tell you, cloths simply hang better off a skinny model. Thus creating more elegant lines and more graceful shapes. A lot of women like to follow fashion in some form thus it becomes inevitable that the ideas of what's the best shape and size for a woman in this unique scenario is is filtered down to the average person and becomes this ideal that is deemed the best.

That combined with the fact the people are becoming fatter (because we ate all the fucking pies) means that there is more of a focus on the slimmer of our numbers.

My basic interest in women follow these rules;

If her ribs are showing... Too skinny.
If she wants to puke constantly to lose weight... Just no.
If her neck reminds me of Gears of War solider necks (Or resemble upside down bowls)... Too fat.
If they cannot see their 'downstairs' from their perspective... Too fat.

As a very skinny man myself, I prefer skinny woman. Sub-conscience seeing compatibility perhaps? If the women are skinnier than me, that is a serious no-zone.

It's not attractive, it's just that some people don't quite understand that "healthy weight" is a RANGE not a "If you're over this you're fat".

Also, sometimes girls who play sports, particularly gymnastics and track and field, are encouraged to be really skinny, since it helps with performance, though it isn't really that healthy.

Oh boy, this is going to be a big one. Because I'm realizing more and more that my brain doesn't work like everyone else's. I analyze everything in my life, down to how the molecules are interacting with each other as I pour milk into my coffee and how the differences in temperature stir the milk around and how it starts to spin counter clockwise because of the rotation of the earth and how similar it is to clouds in the sky because air is a liquid just like my coffee.

(p.s. Also, that eating all the time thing is a horrible stereo type, my woman is big and she eats like a bird)

So, why do I like fat. Lots of reasons!

- Its warm and comforting. I get the same pleasure from snuggling with a fat woman as I do snuggling under some warm blankets. I can't think of a more blissful moment when you can wrap yourself in warm, soft, comfortable woman who you love. I can't do that with a stick.

- Breasts are at least 66% fat. So everything that a guy can like about a breast, I can enjoy the same feeling, activities and physics on a fat woman from head to toe, instead of just one area. I won't mention what those are because I don't want to be the one to corrupt someone's brain if they don't understand what I'm talking about. But if do understand, then I haven't done any damage!

- Since being skinny makes you look like a child, a fat woman looks more like a woman. In a partner I want someone who I know can take care of me outside of the bedroom. Someone who looks like an adult, in my mind, is able to take care of themselves more then someone who looks like a child.

- I'm also a big guy myself, 6' tall and 305lbs. I'm scared to hug skinny women let alone do anything else with them. I don't want to be freaking out like a broke something of her's. I know the actual physics of breaking something aren't really that different, I'm just much more comfortable with a women with cushion.

- I also don't see any benefit to a skinny woman. There's nothing that I, personally, want to do with a woman that she need to be skinny for. Example, my woman is 260lbs and I can pick her up just fine. *shrug*

- Also, since I'm in Canada and we get like 8-12 weeks of actual HOT weather here last few years, I don't have to deal with her complaining about the cold. Part of me wants to troll the skinny women who want to be skinny-skinny by telling them that "Yes, that sweater makes you look fat." But I don't, cause that's not nice.

I could go on, but it gets more pornographic from here on out, so I'll stop.

I'm not trying to be shallow or be like, my way is right and you're all idiots. I can see the appeal that someone else could have in an athletic woman who could throw the guy. Or, if you live a very active life style (like mountain climbing, sports, marathon running) and want a partner to share that with, then yeah, a really fat woman will just slow you down.

wow quite a list you have there! and damn i wish i had my life that in tune with what i am sexually looking for, so kudos to you for that, and while those aren't necessarily my preferences, i don't think you are wrong either nor think of you less/more because of them.

like my original sentence, it's all subjective, depending on how you grew up (who you grew up around) and what kind of lifestyle you live, all attributes into what you like.

like i said, i prefer a girl to be slightly on the skinny side, but not by much (those girls in the video were much skinnier than i'd prefer) and honestly, to me personally, boobs aren't everything, and i'm not a big guy (180 lbs at 5'9ish) so having alot to "play with" isn't in my favor.

oh! one thing i did think of last second, is i used to have the HUGEST frickin crush on the pink power ranger as a kid/pre teen, and she was pretty skinny...so that MIGHT factor in a bit, but she was kind of that "awwwww yeahhh" person growing up that i always looked at.

I can't say I'm not into bigger girls, because my last girlfriend was chubby. But an athletic body, a toned body, is really what floats my boat. I do not find twigs attractive at all, and it saddens me that there are women who would be astoundingly beautiful if only they didn't look like a halloween skeleton. That being said, all people, not just big women, should really take care of their body. They do themselves a disservice if they are morbidly obese but don't think they have to lose weight because "big is beautiful!"

"Attractive" and "beauty" are subjective. The reasons you may find skinny girls unattractive may be the reason another dude gets hard as a diamond for them. Sometimes dudes just like them thin like that. Maybe fat(or even average) girls just turn them off. Sometimes its not the body that attracts them, but its their face or their personality.

Funny you should mention that. I overheard a conversation not so long ago, when I heard one guy say "I reckon all people should be treated the same, no matter their colour or class. Except fat people, they don't deserve it". I'm guessing he just thinks anyone overweight is that way simply because they stuff their face. (How many skinny people stuff ther face, but it's fine because their body handles it differently?) Not to mention extreme excess weight makes someone a target, but extreme underweight prompts sympathy? .. You can probably tell this subject really winds me up.

Personally, despite not being attracted to my fellow females, I think they're all fine as long as they're healthy. I woman who tries to be a size 0 when she's build for something a little bigger looks less attractive and suffers for it. Everyone has their own shape, and there'll always be people out there that find it appealing. At least, that's my take on it.

With models though, I think designers are all deluding themselves having women model these things. That figure they love so much would fit a tall, teen boy better.

Time to give my two cents:

first of all: i have no problem with women being that skinny: they wanna starve themselves in order to look like skeletons. that's fine- whatever floats their boat. it's when they start moaning about 'being so fat' around a group of friends who may not be stick-thin like them. it crushes their self esteem about themselves- 'if this skinny girl thinks she fat, then i must be a tub of lard!' which is why they shouldn't flaunt it.

however, while i do prefer my girls ( or guys, coughcough) to have a bit of meat on their bones, I can see the appeal of a skinny girl: whenever you wrap you're arms around them, and they wrap you're arms around you, they feel so fragile and weak- you're afraid to hold them too tightly in case they break. ya wanna protect them: it makes you feel strong, and you want to be their hero.It's harder to feel that way about someone if you can't wrap you're arms around their waist due to their size, y'know?

A healthy look is different between people, but I would think that it's somewhere between in-shape and well-fed.
