Age differences are more important when you're teens because a person changes a lot, and becomes much more mature(emotionally and mentally) over the course of just a year or two. However, it's really not a problem unless one of the partners is uncomfortable. If both partners are fine with it, it's not a problem in my mind. Culturally, I think our culture is uncomfortable with the idea of "underage" individuals dating at all, and that stigma carries over to even small age differences of a year or two, when one of them is under 18. That's my $0.02

Lumping teen pregnancy into 'it's ok' or 'it's not ok' is folly because the individual will always be different.
That is exactly why I can't agree with those sites. What I read there are based on pure scare tactics.

No, really. I believe anything that can be proven, and they featured no proof.

Nothing like University X found out that 15% of teenage pregnancies have complications, unlike the 5% found on adult women. Things like that.

I agree with this equation except for ages under 18. I believe a 13 year old should only be dating between 12 and 15 while a 14 year old should only be with at oldest a 15 or 16 year old. it depends on maturity level so a 15 year old i myself would think shouldn't date over 17 because between the ages 16-20 is a stage of great growth. a 13-15 year old has a much different maturity level than 16-20. I would consider a 20 year old or a 19 year old at youngest to date a 16 year old but only really if they are mature enough. Some people don't get a real growth spurt until age 17 but girls tend to mature younger so at age 16 a girl could be for the most part developed completely. 18-20 year old guys tend to have it the hardest because of maturity. A guy that age normally dates girls younger so younger than him is girls just reaches maturity. Sooo I would say 16 is the youngest a 20 year old should date. 13-15, 14-16, 15-17, 16-20, 17-22 and as you reach 18 that's really your own choice.
