Double decker bacon and egg sandwich with a twist. The twist being, you whisk the egg, soak the middle slice of bread in it, and then slow fry it. Less mess, great taste!
Ah, I see that you have not died. Welcome back!

Yes...I think I will try this. If it tastes anything like I imagine (French bread with bacon), I think I'll love it.
Not dead, just taking a break from forums lately. But there was a thread that required more bacon!

Three words: Edible sex toy!

Other than that... uh... This is what I was actually thinking about when coming into this thread:

Grilled cheese sandwich...

It's simple, it's fast, there are a bazillion ways to do it, and unless you burn it there is no real way to screw up a grilled cheese sandwich.

Aside from that? There are far too many possibilities to list.

Although patty melts are pretty good, especially when you use bison burger! Bonus points for swiss cheese and Branston pickle on it.

You can take a slice of bread, roll it into a ball (lightly and using just enough bread), and stick it in a copper pipe you are about to solder a fitting onto. It helps keep any remaining water in the pipe from getting close to the joint and sucking away the heat (which is quite important). After you are done sweating all of the fittings, just turn on the pressure and open the fixture (remove the aerators from any faucets first) the pipe leads to to blast out the partially dissolved bread chunks.

Anyone who has messed with sweat fitting copper pipe with a valve that doesn't completely seal, or just a long run that won't drain out, knows this is the bread's true triumph. (I seriously almost drove home to get a slice the other day when fixing the mess that is my grandmother's house. It took forever for a 30' straight run of 1/2" pipe to stop tinkling.)

grilled cheese might be it but garlic bread has been known to cripple 90% of fat people's diets when the opportunity presents itself.

Bread bowl + chilli/stew/any hearty soup. Hollow out a bloomer loafer of your chosen variety and pour it in, with the added benefit of some bread for dipping. Me and my housemate made a fuck-hueg chilli concarne a few months back which left us with loads of leftovers. Next day, I'm quite peckish around lunch time. I remember the leftovers. Now normally I find leftover chilli to be a little meh as leftovers go, but I had a fantastic idea. I went to the Co-op around the corner, picked up a cheddar and jalapeno bloomer loaf, got home, carved out a bowl and proceeded to eat like a king. ************ filled me up for the rest of the day. The only issues that arise are when you overestimate how much you can eat and you don't finish it. The bread ends up turning into more of a cold paste after a while and becomes a harrowing experience to eat.

Runners up include: Grilled cheese/toasties, anything containing either pulled pork or steak and pizza

You can use it to clean up shattered glass. I found this out when I smashed a mirror in my room and searched online for ways to get all the glass particles too small to pick up with a broom.

Do you...eat it afterwards?

That's a bit like saying you can use it to clean up a piss spill, but it doesn't pass the taste test. :I

I'm pretty plain.

I just toast bread and then put mayo and mustard, pepper turkey and swiss cheese.

Oh, and French toast is really good.

A paper towel would be better for cleaning up piss, but bread, specifically soft white bread, is one of the few things that can effectively pick up tiny glass particles embedded in your carpet.

And no, I don't eat shards of glass, because the ER is kinda expensive.

Best thing to do with bread?

Make it.

I think I enjoy the act of baking bread more than eating it lately.

Okay, then it doesn't work; you have to be able to eat the bread afterwards.

Out of all of its various and beautiful forms, my absolute favorite shape that bread can take is that of the bowl. A bread-bowl of soup is just my favorite thing...Once the soup is finished you just get this amazing, warm, soup-soaked loaf of bread to eat. Other than that I really love Chicago-style Pizza, meat pies (though since I'm an American I'm expected to be content with Chicken Pot Pie and nothing else), cheese sticks and of course...Garlic Bread sticks.

Toast croissants in a dry pan, eat with scrambled eggs and smoked salmon.

10/10 would eat again.
