Modern entertainment has not been kind to that word, has it?
Not in the slightest.
I'd say it borderlines on hate-crime, but can one really commit a hate crime against a language?
I don't know, but if so, YOLO would be accused of multiple assault charges.

Doctor Who, niyce. and MLP. I think I've seen some RLM and Brian's been in some youtube things I watch.

Its the cringinly awkward thread you started. Some of them are hilarious to laugh at, but for obvious reasons, I can't make it through many of them before I need to stop for the day. And Boom Goes the Dynamite.
Ah, yes, My Little Spaghetti.

That channel doesn't exist anymore (don't know why), but an unofficial successor has already appeared to retake the throne of embarrassment and humiliating brony videos. Oh joy.

Lagmorph comes from "Lagomorpha" which is the taxonomic order that hares and rabbits belong to. I love rabbits.
Troublesome because I'm always getting in the way and causing trouble for people.

My old name, Hail Fire 998 was just something I thought sounded really cool when I was 12. I first used it on Bungie.net.

When I first joined here I wanted to have a unique username without any numbers. I chose "Volan" at first, which was a random name I came up with (though I can't remember how). Then when I joined PSN I tried to have the same thing to have a single 'gamer identity', but "Volan" was taken. I managed to choose "Voulan", and liked it better. I then changed my username here to add the 'u' so they match. My Steam is also the same.

It's pronounced Vou (rhymes with bow) lan (like land without the 'd'). A lot of American gamers pronounce it Voo (rhymes with you) laan (rhymes with darn).

I really like it - it looks miles better floating above my head in games than x_XEliteSniper_1285X_x23 does, at any rate. I also had a bit of a scare when playing Skyrim - Paarthurnax tends to use random dragon words when talking to you, and at one point he said a word that sounded exactly like "Voulan". It was a real break-the-fourth-wall moment, since it seemed he was talking to me directly. Apparently he said "volaan" which means 'quickly', and he uses it saying "Why do you come here, volaan?" which was what made me jump, since it sounded like he was calling me by name. Draugr occasionally shout it out as well, saying "Dir volaan!" which means 'die quickly', or even 'Die, Voulan!". So we can pretend that's what my name means.

Some cool trivia, if anyone cares to read it.

It's my name in Left For Dead and I decided to reuse it. I'm not sure why I chose that name before, or which party was doing the sodomizing, but I like it.

FROGS IN SPAAACE

Because why should pigs be the only ones.

Spacefrog itself, really comes from the fact that I play Warhammer Fantasy, and my Lizardmen army is lead by a Slann, giant frogs from beyond the stars (and I loved the 40k Slann too)
Combine that with certain parts of my childhood (Battletoads, Bucky O'hare and Starfox specifically) and you have a username that I could use without putting numbers at the end.

I basicly got tired of my old user name Fnar (For No Apparent Reason) because
1)It's too short for some places
2)Nobody got the reference

Name of an old sixth form band that never really got off the ground - we kind of just ended jamming every now and again, but I did like the name, so I nabbed it. Then I found out it was also the name of a comic, but that's just a coincidence.

"Mycroft was the inspiration for the name of a character in Robert A. Heinlein's The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress: "Mycroft" a.k.a. Mike, a H.O.L.M.E.S. ("High-Optional, Logical, Multi-Evaluating Supervisor") Mark 4, a sentient computer. At one point in the story, Mike indicates Sherlock is indeed his brother."
He names the computer Mike because all it did with it's time was 'sit and think.' The character Mycroft was more brilliant than his brother Sherlock but he just lacked the desire to do any legwork to actually prove himself correct - "He will not even go out of his way to verify his own solutions, and would rather be considered wrong than take the trouble to prove himself right."

So I felt it was quite apropos. Plus it just plain sounds cool.

Gaming nickname really, friend of mine made it up when i was changing from my last one (which was my IRL nickname) after Gen. Longstreet from the Virginian army (or SOMETHING in that direction. I just rolled with it.

I later found out that Bruce Lee was in a tv series called Longstreet. So from now on it is referring to that! Because Bruce Lee.

I'm a gentleman of the larger (and somewhat portly these days) frame, and in possession of a beard and shaggy locks, so I get nicknamed "Bear" a lot*.

As I wear glasses too, I figured a Spectacled Bear would be most fitting and Arctodus Simus was the coolest Spectacled Bear I could find :)

EDIT: I have just been informed by the missus, I'm apparently more akin to a St.Bernard. So there's that...

No real meaning, I wanted to be something else, XBox live said it was taken, suggested this one, so I took it. It wasn't until afterwards I realised my gamertag is the american spelling of Mould, but I don't want to spend a tenner to change it.
It does suit me though. I sit around all day and fester, but I want to go to uni/become a graphic designer

My username is a pseudo-phonetic usage of the command Alt-F4; which you probably guessed. I chose this because it is firstly, Alt-F4; it's a computer command and I use it for my computer usernames. Secondly, because it reminds me of a not too far off key, Escape, which reminds me of an episode of Odyssey (A religious cartoon / cassette series); in which one of the main characters and his friend become trapped in a virtual reality game. I like The Matrix.

My favorite villain and my profile pick, Ghaleon from the Lunar series, and the 640 is just a reference to the Nintendo 64 but with a zero. Can't remember why i added the zero.
