Also the Pulse Rifle from the Dead Space games. 175 rounds in the clip, 9 damage per shot and a stun for every round that lands... if you've got a decent aim, it's pretty much just a giant 'Fuck you' to every necromorph you come across. It's the gun that doesn't even bother with limb shots to kill shit - it just ruins everythings day with stunlocks and massive damage.
Balls to the pulse rifle. The Ripper is way more OP. Aim at 45* to the floor. Primary fire. back away if necessary. Watch as the TK buzzsaw blade cuts the necro's legs out from under them, usually killing them outright, otherwise dropping them onto the TK buzzsaw blade and chopping everything else off. Rinse. Repeat. About the only thing it has trouble with are twitchers, but that's what stasis &/or the plasma cutter are for.
On another note, ignoring stuff already mentioned (biotics in general in ME1 (lift turns the game into a joke. I literally walked through the first bit of Virmire with a mostly biotic party, spamming lift on armatures and collossuses and laughing at thir impotence. The only time it doesn't work is the final boss on Insanity. and even then, if you're an Adept and prestige to Bastion... Stasis. Just stasis. Bastion Shep, plus Liara, plus Wrex. kills all), mages in DA 1, especially w/ the arcane warrior prestige class, Armageddon in Persona 3)...
Victory Cry in Persona 4, exploiting the 'Victory Cry Kaiwan' technique (basically fusing a Kaiwan on a skill change day - I believe the earliest you can do this is in may (? somewhere during the bath house dungeon anyhow) and you need to be level 24 to do it, saving before doing so and doing the fusion obveer and over until the 'Tetrakarn' skill changes to 'Victory Cry', which restores all your HP and SP after each combat. Not usefull on the persona in question, but this then becomes a fusion fodder persona, meaning you can make an ARMY of personae with Victory Cry and do any dungeon you want in a single run.) This is bad enougj. Then you fuse a Yoshitsune with victory cry. Yoshitsune has high phys attack, a skill called 'Hassau Tobi' that hits 8 TIMES (low damage on each hit but overall does more damage than the high damage phys skills), each hit with it's own crit chance and, just to make it more fun, the skill 'power charge' which doubles phys damage. Makes Chie look like a wuss.
Also Storm Dragon style in Jade Empire. Yeah, yeah, some people will rate 'Stone Golem' (which is essentially invulnerable) higher, but they be fools. Let me tell you why storm dragon is OP. One hit stunlocks anything that isn't a golem or a ghost. by the time you pick up stone golem you'll have fought almost every ghost or golem you're gonna. Storm Dragon can be picked up from Tien's Landing (if you start the cannibal inn quest and talk to... i can't rmemebr if it's the guy with Black Whirlwind or the lord who hires you's subordinate, one of them anyhow). One on one fights turn into a sequence of 'storm dragon!' 3 hit combo (because why not), 'Basic Martial art of choice' (Usually Legendary Strike) 3 hit combo x2 (I think white Demon's too slow for a double but the damage equals out), Storm Dragon! Martial Stuyle! Storm Dragon! rinse, repeat. Works on the Ravager, works on Kai Lan, works on Sir Roderick, works on Jia (although not as well due to her damage reflect skill), Works on Death's Hand, works on the final bosss. Oh and as for hordes - Focus Mode, Storm Dragon Area attack + Martial Style heavy = focus harmonic combo. Or infinite focus mode. Broken as fuck.
Oh yeah, and the one last thing that somehow nobody has mentioned. It techniclaly involves that game's version of a limit gauge, but not the 'super move' part. All you Rita fans know what's coming next.
"... BLAH BLAH BLAH - TIDAL WAVE! BLAH BLAH BLAH - TIDAL WAVE! BLAH BLAH BLAH - TIDAL WAVE! BLAH BLAH BLAH - TIDAL WAVE! BLAH BLAH BLAH - METEOR STORM! BLAH BLAH BLAH - METEOR STORM! BLAH BLAH BLAH - TIDAL WAVE! BLAH BLAH BLAH..." oh everything's dead and I have a million grade and my OL gauge is pretty much back at full.
