What's the most overpowered attack, weapon or ability in a game?

T-Bolt Sniper in Uncharted 3. It's a one shot kill weapon to ANY body part, even the shin. It turns anyone who uses it from decent to awful.

Ether Boost from FFTA2
By itself the move did nothing more than restore MP, but by doing so it basically allows you to fire off all your super-powerful spells non-stop. Nothing in the game can pose any real challenge if you can toss out high-level spells like confetti.

Also the Specter-Class weapons from ME1. After buying the assualt rifle nothing else in the last few levels of the game posed anything even remotely resembling a challenge anymore. Kinda disheartening to see Krogan and giant geth getting killed by 2 bullets.

The Concrete Donkey in Worms. If you've ever played Worms, you know what I'm talking about.
Holy christ yes... It was rediculous... basically a 'wipe a section of the map away' weapon!

OT: I know you said no Lmits... but the FF12 Quickenings are just rediculous... as long as you had one lined up you could just set it off... and as long as you were fast enough there was no end to the damage you could do... not only that, get a big enough chain, and the game would add a no expense speared mega attack to the end that just completle annihalated anything! Honestly... I couldn't beat a lot of the bosses on their own, but fire a quickening chain off and most were now 1HKO!!

Also Super Smash Bros - Metaknight's regular attack! He could punch so fast in quick succession that if he landed one punch he could essentially trap an enemy in an endless cycle of punches... a quick up+attack later and they would be gone... simples...! :p

EDIT: Also all FPS's on the PS1/2 had OP weapons in... i'm thinking the Rail Gun in Red Faction, with it's ability to see and shoot through walls, The Monkey Gun, Homing Missles and even the Brick in Timesplitters (Actually most double weapons in Timesplitter too...) and the rocket launcher in OO7 Nightfire that you could control yourself... my god you could do some serious shit with that!

Also the first Darkness game... there was never any need to ever use anything apart from the standard pistols... they were perfectly accurate, fast rate of fire, and sheer power makes them the best... also the sheer amounts of ammo for these in the game means you rarely run out!

Fortify restore health in morrowind made you immortal on the spot. Vampires could even walk in sunlight with it.

Also TG Cids lightning stab in final fantasy tactics.
Pfft his armor break was much more ridiculous, especially in the Defeat XXX missions Armor increased HP. To win those you needed to drop them to like 10% HP left. It was ranged... Rogue Galaxy had an attack with Jaster, Zegram and the girl. It sucked up MP, but you got ethers so often as a drop. I swear to this day that's why the final boss is fought with all of your party one at a time.

Kim in king of fighters has a lot of advantages over other characters the most obvious is that he causes more damage.

Oh, I've got like 109 different ideas! of course, i'll spare you all that and tell you about the most annoying ones
Stun with electro bolt than shoot-Bioshock 2. fucking annoying.
Every single power weapon-Uncharted 3. Power weapons are glorified noob toobs for people who can't play the fucking game. I myself always stick with my M4/M93R.
Rocket Launchers/Grenade Launchers-Team Fortress 2. 1-2 hits and your dead. I hate how many overpowered guns there are in TF2. Also, the soldier should carry an assault rifle/semi-automatic rifle rather than a giant nooby rocket launcher. Soldiers are usually the most balanced class in a game, and rocket launchers and shotguns aren't really very balanced. Shotguns I can understand, but a rocket launcher isn't very balanced.

Gotta go with the Lightning Storm in inFamous 1 and 2.

Hell, there's a whole level where you're practically invincible because you're fighting in a storm, so every time you're out of juice you can just refill with some lightning bolts and bring down some more lightning on your enemies.

Apart from that, I'd say the Biotic Charge and Nova combination. Ever faced with a neat little group of enemies? No problem, just charge into them and then nova the shit out of them!

Stealth archer in Elder Scrolls games. It's not like Fallout, where only certain guns are silent and usually blow your cover after the first shots -- all bows are silent, a lot can one-hit enemies with proper aim.

Zero Shift - fold space between you and your target so that you can instantly appear behind them and flay em. Fun at first but gets old real fast.
this, but, its pretty much required to fight, like every boss after your get it

from Mega Man 2 - the Metal Blade: its owns fucking near everything, cost next to nothing to use, fires in any direction you'd need, and the blade it self is HUGE, making missing kind of a non option

Super Metriod - Hyper Beam: it one shot kills everything but Mother Brain, (though it might not qualify since the only way to use it on anything else is via cheats)

Mega Man X Command Mission - Ultimate Armor and Absolute Zero: granted you have to wait until pretty late in the game to get them, but there's no reason to not use them when you do, both are capable of making even the hardest bosses in the game into chumps little diffaculty.

Shadow Hearts 1,2 an 3 - Seraphic Radiance/Dark Seraphim/Tirwana: there is zero balancing here. they make the above transformations look like a fucking joke. why? cause of new game plus, you get to keep your transformations on the next play through with the ONLY thing preventing you from nailing the first boss with em being the SP/MP cost, that's right, you could start over and bust out the most powerful form in the game, at level 1 if you could cover the cost

Sticky launcher from TF2. Insane damage, massive range, you can use it from the start, ammo is no object cos you can loot the people you kill, and it hasn't recived a nerf in yonks.

Man, I forgot about the RYNO. It made the game so hilariously easy, lol.
That gun is the very definition of OP.

Prototype wasn't a very good game. One of the reasons why, in my opinion, was that you could beat it really early on using the whip fist. If you were somehow still having problems, then about halfway through the game you got the armor upgrade as part of the story. So now not only good you one-shot helicopters hovering over Times Square from Queens, you could also walk straight up to a tank, take of the top, and hijack it without the possibility of taking any damage.
The final boss is basically this thing that used to be a girl, and is supposed to be really tough to damage. After all, she has a very small weak point, and there are many things standing between you and her. I only realized this later when hearing someone else talk about it, as well as the fact that you're apparently not supposed to climb up the building she's right next to, equip the armor and either the arm blade or the giant fists, and use a combination of momentum and already strong attacks to kill her in about three hits. That fight against a single hunter took longer, and by the end you were slaughtering six or seven of those a day.
Then you talked about the final boss and realised you hadn't actually played Prototype. GG.
glad someone picked him up on that because i found the countdown timer on the final boss actually made it quite a tough fight. I personally enjoyed the game i thought the main point was that you were stupidly over powered and the challenge was that they mobbed you with increasing numbers and upgraded enemies GTA wanted rating style, more of a how long can you survive affair rather than i can take down a singly unit pretty easy.

Armageddon in Persona 3 you cant get it until late but once you do have it you dont need anything else I dont think there is any enemy besides Elizabeth who can survive a single hit and the best part is its essentially free as due to victory cry you regen all your SP after the battle.

Oh and ofc the pistol in Halo lol that thing was a beast.

I play with my two brother's occasionally and if anyone one of us use the Concrete Donkey we get punched...lots.

As for me, One Man Army + Noob Tube is the most over-powered thing ever invented, especially when they camp

The Halo CE Pistol.... ************ that thing was tank.

Or the goddamned USAS with 12g Frag rounds in Battlefield 3. It can die in a hole.
