The Sims Universe. Being controlled by a higher being and you have very limted freedom... Wait? Kinda sounds like the Universe I'm in right now... Hhmmm, that is very strange.

Solution: ...
So. Damn. True.

The God of War universe would suck pretty bad too. If you see anything pale white moving in the distance, then, for the love of god, get out of the way. Oh, never mind, it doesn't matter if you get out of the way. The swarm of demons that is sure to follow him will take you out for fun if he doesn't.

40k. At least in regular Warhammer you can try and lead a life that doesn't involve getting killed in new and interesting fashions. In 40k it's either the Astartes if you're lucky, the Guard if you're not, or being a random civilian if the universe really has it out for you.

Starcraft

You'd just never be safe from a bazzillion zerg just over the horizon.

Maybe Half Life. It'd suck to live in that world under combine control, and it would only get suckier after Gordon Freeman started doing his thing.
I tried to think of what unit would be safest in Starcraft, I narrowed it down to Battlecruiser commander or Dropship pilot having the longest life expectancy, but not by much. And they last, but are high priority targets.

Protoss Zealots get like 4 chances at life though... They die, now they're Dragoons or they live and get Promoted now their High Templar. In trouble? Archon Warp!

OT: Any horror game. I would just go into shock and die in a coma as Zombies eat me.

Yoshi's Island. If you stand still for too long, you'll get picked off by the Koopa's! THERE'S NO ESCAPE.

Prototype. I wouldn't worry about the regular infected and hunters so much as Alex Mercer himself. He could consume me for some health. Or use me as a projectile. Or body surf on my corpse. Or dismember me. Or any of the hundreds of other ways you can be a dick in that game.

The mines in Penumbra.

Will YOU cut out your tongue, eat spiders for three years, get addicted to them, and then get eaten by a cave worm?

Or will you spend three years trying to kill yourself but failing because of a life-preservation virus, and finally try to anger a trespasser so that you can try - and succeed- in getting him to set you on fire?

And it's not like the Orks actually feel any malice towards anyone, it's all just a bit o fun, innit?.
I get the feeling that somehow the lack of malice won't really matter during the next WAAAAAAAAGH. I mean really, a screaming horde of bloodthirsty quasi-fungal berserkers that don't stop the killin' til everyfing's ded.

Though you might be able to live if you paint your getaway vehicle bright red, because as we all know, red wonz go fasta!

Warhammer 40.000 - full fucking stop. You can't survive there for 24 hours, because you'll die most horrific and gruesome death imaginable in 11 nanoseconds. And then will be trapped in Bloody-Hell-By-Any-Other-Name forever. There is one,and only one positive qualitiy in that universe - the fact that red 'unz go fasta.

And there's people who would "like" to live there... bleugh.

Probably the 40k universe. I know I'm not the first to say that, but it's true. I'd probably be executed for heresy because I didn't know all the laws and customs of the Imperium. And that's if a bunch of rampaging orks, cultists, Dark Eldar, etc. didn't show up and chop everyone up. My best option would be seeking Tau protection, and even then I'd have no guarantee that they wouldn't vaporize me with a railgun if they got the least bit suspicious. 'twould not be a fun place.

Definitely pac man. It's not a matter of if you're going to be murdered by ghosts, it's when. plus you only get two dimensions of movement.
