Oh yeah that's true but what are ya gonna do? We have been getting a lot of why the hate threads haven't we? I guess people are curious as to why people hate things. I guess to some it's a real mystery.
I just enjoy the fact these threads have seasons, makes the escapist feel more alive when I know certain times of it's life cycle are here. Like I do believe we shall see the amazing display of "favorite etc" soon, it's almost that time of the week.

In fairness, these threads are normall semi interesting and you can at least get some sort of discussion out of them, even if it's not on the subject matter at hand. Like this.
next season: Halo... again... :(

Ahhh yes you are correct sir, I believe one hatred thread followed by interestingly enough some why hate halo threads. God we should all get together and study these, we could be like the internet Darwins. Studying the Theory of Forum Thread Cycles, or discovering something completely new.

ill make a pie chart of on average people make the threads. The numbers will be large.

We'll need a group I think, we'll also need to hire some people to study groups. Any other ideas for areas of interest we can study (fuck knows what 'study' actually involves but we shall think of something).

The multiplayer is great though. I can't believe more games haven't started implementing the seamless objective mode changes.

It's all about the demographic, most people here are PC/Xbox gamers that are into RPGs....er I mean WRPGs like Fallout 3 or Mass Effect, that and Valave games.

For instance Little Big Planet 2 looks breath taking but mention it here and you'll get mostly crickets.

How did it get this way? Yahtzee, who else? Although I will note there's a hefty amount of JRPG fans here as well since this site reviews anime, so bringing up the WRPG vs. JRPG argument can get pretty entertaining.

What's with all the 'What's with all the BLAH BLAH BLAH hate?'

I didn't notice people hating on this PS3 game, but then again, it's a PS3 game, so I would guess all the hate comes from that.

I played the demo, and it didn't entertain me, I would attribute that to the PS3 FPS controls..... I prefer the 360 controller for FPS.

They butchered the weapons. All of them. They felt versatile and unique in Killzone 1. For some retarded reason they took all the secondary functions out in Killzone 2 (and it was a late development decision too, you can still see them having grenades for their rifles strapped to their uniform).

I can understand doing this for multiplayer but for campaign too?

An utter atrocity.

I really didn't like killzone 2 because of the story, and controlles. I just wasn't motivated enough to even finish the game, and just can't handle the PS3 controller for 1st person shooter. That made the game pretty much unplayable for me.

I thought it was supposed to be the Halo 3 beater but ended up not being. Not so much as playing better, but achieving the sales and hype that game did. Which it didn't. And people are resentful for it.

I dunno... I liked it more then Call of Duty 4, WaW, and 6... but that's not saying a whole hell of a lot.

I'm curious as to why so many people here hate Killzone 2.

I personally feel it is a great game, in terms of atmosphere and gameplay. Story and voice acting aren't that great, but I really don't understand why there is such a massive backlash against this game.

Can some of the haters and critics clarify this for me?
I don't hate the game. I just file it under FPS #35546.

It was hyped as the PS3's answer to Halo, and managed to not only not be as good, and be significantly more brown, it basically came out and bent right over for Call of Duty.
