Whats wrong with retro?

It just feels strange for somebody to refer to the SNES, and N64 as 'retro'. I remember when both of those systems came out, heh. As for those friends of yours, just ignore them for being ignorant little punks for considering the SNES a bad system just because it is old. It amazes me that people would make such a big deal about it in the first place. Go find some real friends, not some group of sheep who are devoid of opinion and the ability to make their own decisions.

If you don't want to hurt them, and you can't remain neutral with a "I like this, you like that, just leave it at that" thing, find something to rip on them for and abuse it.

To answer the thread question, there is NOTHING wrong with retro. People would rather play stuff that's new...fine. Have fun with that. I am strongly of the mind that people need to 'respect the architects' however.

Those 'friends' of yours are indoctrinated with the thought that good graphics make good games.
Which isn't true at all, the best games ever are always SNES or N64 games.

Hell, if someone wanted to give me a XBOX 360 and a PS3 on the condition that I'd never play Tetris again, I'd tell him to bugger off and bother someone else.
