I see alot of vista sucks on forums around the net and its forced me to ask the question, whats wrong with vista?
Things not to include: It takes up a ton of space on the hard drive, It attempts to be over protected but its security sucks.

I have it. Other than the monthly freeze, I see no problem with it. I like Vista *prepares to be lynched*

Security is not a problem on my Vista setup because I use Norton Anti-Virus, which came free for one year with the laptop. I've never had any problems on my laptop running Vista except for lack of internet after a powercut at university, and that was down to the campus setup rather than Vista (internet was erratic all over the place for weeks afterwards).

Everything is wrong with vista. No brainer there. The fact that Microsoft is releasing a new windows version within a year or two confirms it. It's incredibly buggy, leechful and demanding from your hardware. If you need your pc for games, stick with XP vista supports only a limited number of games. SUXZ0R!

Turn down the visual settings and there isn't much of a problem. Although XP is preferable.

O'RLY? Every game I played on XP works fine on Vista except for Halo 1, that run's slowly with all the video settings turned up.

Vista isn't bad, it's that XP was just really good. I never seem to have many problems with Vista personally, and I have yet to find a game that Vista doesn't support. It's all hype and no fluff, yo.

Try to run Fallout 1 or 2 or almost any older game and let's see what happens. The newer games, yes, they were made to be vista supported. No oldies for hardcore dudes <3 So for me, vista can take a hike.

For me, Vista's 'alright'. But honestly, I would never deny that it has obvious issues. Compatibility, memory hog, UAC, etc. etc. etc.

I'm with you on this one. I like my vista. But i can understand why people don't like it, in fact the reason i may like it is simply because i don't try to do much with it besides play games, surf the web or write the occasional word document.

The real reason that they're declaring the biggest flop since Millennium is because everyone UNCONDITIONALLY HATES IT. Bugs? Not a problem, even less of one after SP1. Gamers don't need to look twice at the mid-end hardware,

AND THE BACKWARDS COMPATIBILTY - FUCKING - WORKS, GODDAMNIT!

I hate it when people hate Vista for problems that aren't there.

Oddly enough, Fallout 1 and 2 work fine. DOSbox or source ports for old games, SCUMMVM for old Lucas Arts puzzle games. It all works fine.

Fallout 1 and 2 and Tactics work like a dream on my Vista comp, did you even try them before spouting off?
