For fantsay like stuff I would pick a lightsaber as it is light and gets the job done for real stuff I would pick a katana.

I'd use the arbiter's "lemon Grenades".

That or the plasma cutter and line gun off deadspace.

Example:
Me:"oh no a horde of zombies"
*insert space-type noise of line gun as it takes their legs off*

Dismemberment is the key to a succesful zombie weapon.

If these aren't allowed then the lever action rifle off F3oint lookout because:

1) Theres quite a few around, so its easy to repair.
2) It has more ammo then a unlimited pistol.
3) Point. Squeeze. Head explodes.
4) It will do ridiculous damage to turrets any survivors set up as well.

ID have to have some kind of axe, because a sword is all well and good, but unless its a weighty sword, or your really skiled at using a sword, it's gonna get stuck in zombie flesh. Witha heavy axe, while it is slower and you will have to be careful, its unlikly to get stuck in zombie flesh because it would go straight through them.

That is probably the most awesome thing Ive seen.
Do they work? are they even accurate?

Relatively pointless, since the pistol part is a secondary feature, but yeah, they work, and they shoot well enough to be helpful. Inaccurate to snipe with but good enough at shortish ranges.

Shotgun aren't too great in a zombie apocalypse. You've got to pierce the brain and the tiny size of the shells and the spray of them makes it incredibly unlikely you're going to do so. I'd have an accurate, powerful rifle with silencer and scope and semi/full automatic firing options and lots of ammo instead of a shotgun. Then for my backup, I'd use either: A damn powerful handgun; desert eagle or such, a lightsaber; because they're awesome, or a Shaolin Spade. If anyone else has read the Zombie Survival Guide then they get coooookies. Oh, and an armoured car. They wouldn't be able to do a thing if you got inside it.

I would have a combat knife as my last resort but probly a short sword just to give me some range from them.
