So recently I've been wondering to myself "I've done some things I'm proud of in gaming, what about other people?" So if anyone has anything they're proud of post it here! I have a few, Like beating Japanese Mario 2 or beating Conker's bad fur day without taking damage.

My best achievement was beating the Kick Me Challenge in God Hand (heavy self imposed challenge for a minor unlock). Near the end this can get frustrating as enemies are very strong and you can't use your strongest abilities. Nothing was more satisfying than finally beating all of the stuff the game has to throw at you.

Oh I forgot to mention this game is "Nintendo hard"

Back when I was in high school I used to play games somewhat competitively. At one point a topped the tournament ladder for Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 (it was a flawless victory too, no losses).

There was also a LAN gaming establishment about 45 minutes or so away from my home that regularly held Counter-Strike tournaments, and actually had cash prizes for the winners. I attended every one that I could, and ended up using my winnings to buy my first car.

My time leading raids in Everquest in 1999~2001. Organizing 100 people with nothing but notepad, no raid tools or even raids, just organized groups using shout and ooc in the beginning. Never mind instructional videos for the mobs.

I got all 420 flags and all the templars in Assassins Creed 1.
I got all the multiplayer achievements in AC:Bro and AC:Rev (I wanted to kill myself after getting to level 50 in Bro in a week).
I have 1K in Deadrising 2 (including 72,000 kills, while completely the main story line).

I'm working on getting Seriously 3.0

my all time best was killing 3 guys with two bullets in metal gear solid 3. i tripped an alarm so i pulled out my sniper rifle and fired twice at the first guard. hit him right in the head and his head shot back and hit the guy behind him who was aiming a rocket at me. the rocket blew up and took out the last guy. life has only gone down hill from then lol

Said it before and i'll say it again (because it was the first time i'd danced around the house and got odd looks from my wife).

Beating Devil May Cry on Dante Must Die mode without dying.

I remember beating the very last Colossi in Shadow of the Collosus. I remember it taking very many tries, but I finally did it. I was so happy.

Also beating the level "Cortana" in Halo 3 on legendary Co-op, with the iron skull on. Took all fucking night and neither of us *the guy I was playing with* wanted to give up. We beat it, although we didn't feel happy afterwards, just angry and tired. Oh my god, the curses that left our lips that night could have killed a nun. Probably the most difficult thing I have ever played. I would probably do it again...

ALSO I stayed at this random guys house once, didn't even know his name and we stayed up all night beating Duke Nukem 3D on co-op, and I had never been able to beat it before that. He was still up for playing some death match afterwards. Good times.

Ahhhh the nostalgia these memories are bringing me.

Finished Ninja Gaiden on hard on the old XBOX, Finished Dark Souls without help from others or summons or looking at a guide (although apparently if I try and prove this I get 'your boyfriend finished it for you' lolol :p) Killed Muru Pre Nerf in WoW and Cthun Battlegroup first. I also finished a lot of the old school no save games like Alex Kidd and such although if I try and list all of those it will get silly.

The One Free Bullet on Half Life 2 Episode 1.

I love achievements that are basically ideas for different playthroughs, this one was play through HL2 E1 firing one and only one bullet (you need to shoot a padlock off of a gate early on).

Sitting on that train pulling away from City 17, and the little notification pops up. GLORIOUS!

No scoping the first boss in Silent Scope with a single head shot and then repeatedly doing on every arcade release since. My eyesight is that good

Mile High Club on veteran, I don't know how many times I had to retry that thing but eventually I beat it.

I'm curious, how long exactly did it take you to defeat Alma?

Because FUCK Alma.
A long time tbh. Weeks at least. I hate that pink *****. I'm really not a super competitive gamer or anything but I am proud of that. It's a good thing I'm not a controller smasher...

Ironically, most of my achievements were before the achievements/trophy era.

-I finished FFVIII 100%; everyone was level 100, summons and characters, all Triple triad cards, all best weapons, all sidequests, I got everything!
-I finished Jak and Daxter 2 and 3 in the hardest difficulty (To be fair...it was only a Jak and Daxter game and I was much younger).
-I beat the stupid Challenge of the Gods in all God of War games.
-I once ranked as #1 on the Rock Band leaderboards for singing Pressure by Paramore. But again, to be fair, it happened a couple of weeks after the game came out. I'm sure someone snatched that position already.

I dunno, I'm not one to go after certain achievements unless I can get them during the main gameplay. That is, I won't replay a game just to get a specific achievement. I might replay it cause its crazy fun but that's about it.

I always find myself posting this in these kinds of threads.
Not the best Dark Souls play, and not the best O+S fight, but dammit I'm proud of it.
