1. As an American, I support the wars in the Middle East. Without some kind of intervention from somewhere, the whole area would eventually be 100% controlled by terrorist groups, criminals, etc. I do think we need to change our 'mission'. The Coalition, NATO, the UN, or even a single country should issue an ultimatum to the governments of the region saying "If you're not with us, you're against us." or at least "Help us, now, or we stop helping you." While the leadership isn't actively hiding our enemies in the Middle East, some of them aren't helping and yet we still spend millions and millions of dollars every year funding their militaries.
2. A unique religious view: God started it, but everything has pretty much been coasting since the big bang. The afterlife exists, and is unique to every individual. Christ existed, and was a great man/deity, but he's probably chilling with God ruling the afterlife right now. Prayer alone fixes nothing. Action solves problems.
3. I have absolutely zero sympathy for fat people who act like they're disabled and deserve special privileges. It's your own damn fault, get over it.
4. Humanity can and will, eventually, colonize space. Warp drives FTW. (The warp drive is theoretically possible. It annihilates matter in front and recreates it behind the ship. It cannot be made with current tech, but it could eventually.)
5. There is life elsewhere in the universe.
6. Humanity has destroyed natural selection and it's going to kick us in the ass someday. Everyone's opinion is valid, even the unbelievably stupid, and we coddle the students who are failing their classes. (We refuse to hold a student back except in the most extreme situations, even when they really should be). We try our hardest to save everyone, even people who, say, hurt themselves playing chicken with sports cars when they were drunk.
7. Violent content should be more restricted then sexual content. We're teaching kids (inadvertently) that sexual urges are evil, even though everyone will feel them, but violence is ok.
8. The American education system really, really, really sucks. This probably doesn't apply everywhere, but in my area it wasn't until 8th grade that students were explicitly told what a star was. At the same time, in 7th and 8th grade we were still 'learning' fundamental grammar that we had been taught since 2nd grade. And we were the 3rd or 4th best public school in the state!
9. American expectations about education should be higher. Currently, A=EPIC, B=VERY GOOD, C=OKAY, D=BAD. and F=VERY BAD. It should be A+=EPIC, A=VERY GOOD, B=REGULAR, C=BAD, D=VERY BAD, and F=ABSOLUTE SH*T. Honor roll should be changed to Straight As, not Straight Bs.
10. Athletes should have a few zeros knocked off their salaries.
11. The space program should receive a lot more funding.
Christ that was a lot of content. I should be President or something.
