Oh calm down and stop taking things so seriously. It was a joke. Myself im on a Morbid Angel craze atm...
Everything in your post is excellence. Well, other than Destroy What You Enjoy. I thought that, save for a few songs, that album was pretty bad. Still, fair play to PM5K for trying new styles. It's what they've always been about.Zeeky_Santos said:Powerman 5000 is the shit. Tonight the Stars Revolt, Transform and Destroy What You Enjoy especially (the albums that is, not just the songs).Obsidian Rocker said:We all see the "What are you listening to" threads. They're all fine and dandy but there's never really any discussion. At least the ones I come across. So, rather than just what songs playing at the moment, what's the song or band you can't stop listening to? Why?
For example, I've dug up my old Powerman 5000 albums. Don't know what started it but since Friday I've let PM5K play almost non-stop. It's only been off when I've been watching TV. Brings back the old days of Smackdown VS Raw when I almost shit myself when I found out they were on there. I had been a fan of them for a few weeks, booted up Smackdown VS Raw, When Worlds Collide came on and I was like "HORRY SHEET!"
Anyway, enough of my rambling. Let the thread commence!
However, recently I've been rather into Metallica again. Might be because my bro bought me S&M for Xmas. Damn that's a good album.
Oh my gosh. You sir, are common sense incarnate. Or maybe you are an exact clone of me. Hmm, let me check. Do you enjoy Guy Ritchie films, Jason Statham, Viewtiful Joe, America, Bullet time, and Falcon punch?Nouw said:Gorillaz and Daft Punk. Those 2 artists beat everything else for me.

OT: Jamiroquai and Enter Shikari. I just got Rock Dust Light Star for christmas, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Also, the entire soundtrack to Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. Chiddy Bang is awesome.
I'd like to ask how much you're willing to part with, now I've gone and bought Vic 2's soundtrack?Cowabungaa said:Addicted...hmmm not so much, I switch my music around a lot. But I have been listening to The Red Hot Chili Pepper's By The Way and Californication albums a damned lot lately.
What a coincidence. I just bought Victoria 2 and the first thing I noticed about that game was it's insanely amazing orchestral soundtrack;ReservoirAngel said:Same as my obsession normally is: orchestral scores.
I'm particularly hooked on two tracks from the Mass Effect 2 soundtrack: "The End Run" and "Suicide Mission".
And plenty more. And Suicide Mission is by far my fav ME2 song, good gods that song was epic, the whole damned scene made me punch the air in a loud "BOOYA!!!" Only to loose poor Grunt while they held the door. He died a glorious death. *salutes* Even Miranda, the stuck-up *****, shall be missed.
Edit: Oh and Victoria 2's OST reminded me of a similar orchestral OST, namely Arcanum's:
And more like that. Gah I love it, despite it's graphical limitations (even for it's day) it's so very atmospheric, also thanks to that music.
