What's your favorite anime?

Favorite Comedy at the moment would be "Working!!"
"Welcome to the NHK" and "Clannad" are forever glued to the list for reasons of greatness.
And I'm really liking the "To Aru Majutsu no Index" series at the moment.

As of now, probably a tie between Evangelion and Baccano. Both didn't do anything for me the first time, but on subsequent viewings, it hit me hard just how much I like both series. I mean I never had as much fun with anything as I did watching Baccano.

Also, Mnemosyne's shaping up to be one of my all time favorite OVAs.

Well my first thought would be Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood or Deathnote. But then I remembered the reason I got back into anime and still the best one I have seen so far. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann!

Code Geass. I'm not really an anime kinda guy, but i did enjoy that one. Maybe you guys could recommend something similar? (I'm not thinking of the big robots smashing stuff. More story elements if you know what i mean )

Ugh. Tough one. I don't have a pure favourite but I love Gintama, Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist and K-on.

Cowboy Bebop is probably my overall favourite though.

Neon Genesis Evangelion and Azumanga Daioh.

I consider NGE the best anime show and one of the best shows ever, and Azumanga Daioh is one of those shows that I just keep coming back to every few months. It's humor is tailor made for me.

One Piece is my overall favorite anime. And the last few episodes were sad...
I really like the show because it has a ton of interesting characters and I like the way certain moments in different arcs can be very emotional and others are really funny.

My honorable mentions are: Code Geass, Baccano, and Clannad.
