Never took an official test. 116 is the lowest I've ever gotten on an online test, while 160 is the highest. I usually score about 130.

I don't think IQ demands much reverence. You can be the greatest genius of all time, but if you don't put in the work, you'll fail just like every other bum.

Along with your own score, feel free to say how much relevance IQ score has on ones occupational prospects and there life in general.
132 when I was 12. 135 for that age was apparently considered genius. However, the test was oral and not written so it's 15 above/below and not 5 above/below.

IQ on its own has no impact on one's occupation/standing. Lots of people with high IQs cannot perform basic tasks without assistance.

Dunno. Last one I took many years ago, I think it was 120. (or at least I'd like to think it was)
Then again, FUCK INTELLIGENT PEOPLE. I WANT AN ARMY OF GODDAMN RETARDS. GO STUPID, GO!

Never taken one. I personally believe that intelligence isn't something that can be brought across in arbitrary multiple choice exams, and I've never had the opportunity to be tested, or quantified by numbers, really. In fact, I'd go as far to say that you likelihood of unearthing the brilliance in after just a conversations is extremely low

Besides, different people are biased towards different types of intellect. Sure, you have the occasional golden sage of genius insight, who's just good at everything they put their mind to. but most people's IQ varies depending on the situation. Some of the most brilliant people I know are completely lacking in terms simple linear thinking, because their minds just don't operate that way

From the rhetoric I've heard spouted, your IQ shouldn't change over time. So yeah, pattern recognition and whatnot, but books shouldn't really affect that.
Perhaps I was always smart, but I only really realise it when I started applying it to my work. That would make sense.

I scored 151 on a real IQ test when I was 5 or so. Haven't taken a real IQ test since.

Not exactly sure. Only IQ test I have ever taken was scored 150. However, the score capped at 150 cause, well yanno.. it was a halfassed online test from emode.

Doesnt matter to me, cause I know I am smarter than the average person. Beyond that is irrelevant.

I had to take one when I was 10, because I was a troublesome kid at school, scored 165.
After that, the teacher gave me much more interesting stuff to do, and I didn't go hiding somewhere to skip class anymore.
The downside is that when you can get good grades in school without any work, you don't get used to making efforts to get anything, which is quite a disadvantage when working for a living.

The last number I heard was 122, but it wasn't from a legit IQ test, so it's probably lower.

FYI, 100 is the average intelligence of humans. Below 70 is mental retardation, above 130 is gifted. My numbers may be off though.

I actually had one done at a psychologist because my teacher in 3rd grade was under the assumption that I had ADD, they said I had an IQ of about 130. Though to be honest I never put much faith in IQ tests.

I took the BBC 2007 "iq" test and lo and behold, i scored a whopping 88.
Keep in mind, i'm not from england and managed to score 4 out of 10 on my english tests at school for getting my name right on the test papers. Those pop questions make it a bit hard.
On a regular online test i seem to score about 115 to 125 on average, it depends on how focused i manage to be while taking them.

Damn Ninja'd.

There are various tests for IQ; not everyone takes the same test, so results can't easily be compared. I took one when I was 14 and scored 125, which they told me was very good for that particular test.

Isnt it amazing how many always get high IQ scores when asked in threads like these? If your gonna lie find something inteligent to lie about. Roughly 2% of the population qualifies for MENSA membership and their limit is at 139IQ with variations depending on country.

Considering the score people are claiming here it would mean Escapist has an not only unlikely but incredibly high amount of that top 2% of the population... Seriously?

Either youve done backyard hillbillie versions of the test or your just plain lying, take your pick. A number are probably honest but i very much doubt even the majority here is.

Did a mensa basic test online and got the top score the test measured to, 129IQ. Onlinetests give everything between 120-150 so those are just bull, havent done a proper mensa test so dont know my real score.
