Do you have a nickname? If so, what is it, how did you get it, and do you like it?

I have a few nicknmames:
Rich- short for Richard, my personal preference
El Padrino- middle school spanish teacher gave me it because of my stoic/serious demeanor, I like it
Chris Rock- I don't understand it my friends just call me it sometimes, it's an ok nickname
Richie T- some friends from high school called me Richie or Richie T, it grew on me
Dick- old school nickname for Rich, fuck it not a fan

Nick. Because my name is Nicholas.
Max Power. A girl I work with gave it to me, because she thought I was called Ned for a while, and to make it up to me she gave me an awesome nickname. Now it's a running joke.

My real name might as well be my nick name.

It's short and doesn't sound like a real name, so people call me it.

Though, sometimes people call me by my name translated into Japanese which would be Akari.

I'm just getting called Frode, which is my real name... Some people say 'Frodo' from time to time. Cant say I'm a big fan, it's been overused!

My sisters call me "Lemony", which is a corruption of my real name, Emily. Apparently (although I don't remember this - repressing traumatic memories?) when I was eleven they called me Lemon Eleven because I was sour. So when the family had a nickname fad a while back, "Lemony" got resurrected. Occasionally it gets de-breviated (yes, I just made that word up) to "Lemony Shnicket", after the writer. I don't know how "Snicket" became "Shnicket"; we do know the correct spelling and pronunciation, but apparently choose not to use it.
