What's your Main Skyrim Character's background from before the beginning of the game?

My character was fleeing with spoils from the sacking of orsinium to skyrim. Been on the run ever since. been about 175 years or so. got caught at game's beginning.

Name: Ryvansil
Race: Nord/Demonic Entity, Ex-Vampire [Cured], Werewolf
Class: SoulReaver
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Lvl: 81
Skills: All at 100

Orsinium was sacked in the early part of the 4th era, and my character is partly responsible for it. my character's involvement in non-canon.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Orsinium

"Orsinium was once again sacked by the combined forces of Hammerfell and High Rock in the early Fourth Era, and many Orc refugees fled east into Skyrim."

OFF TOPIC:

I should name a bow Ltaneor in skyrim, and blast people with it.

Just how old is your character? Because that would make you at a very old man at the very least.
I dont tend to think too much about my characters histories, just whats in front of them, that could be their defining trait, they escaped into Skyrim to escape their past and start anew

My character the Argonian Hijikata was a member of a secret ninja-like assassin organisation called 'Ryuu no Sawa'that almost exclusively operates in black marsh. He specialised in a unique form of assassinations which involved making use the many pathogens that were commonly found in Black marsh but rare elsewhere. Because this form of assassination was almost unheard of and when he travelled to skyrim to take out a corrupt relative of an unknown jarl, he was put to death because of the potential destruction he was capable of by simply utilising the power of these diseases.

no, it wouldn't maker her an old man. plus she dabbled a lot into daedric magic and was able to make herself slightly demonic, kind of bound herself to her mortal form as a daedra is to the planes of oblivion, and was able to find a way to avoid aging. she's about 250 years old, and lived during the oblivion crisis, but was in high rock at the time. remember, this is a fantasy world, anything is possible.

edit: my first character was a male breton, but my main is a female nord.

i'll upload a screenshot asap

I started with all spells, at lvl 81 with this char. My first char I played fair, and still had no problems, so for my main, i just started at max lvl and all perks, decided not to play fair, as she is a demon. daedra are not demons vis versa.

EDIT: you start with flames and healing, not fireball

None! Okay.

My character was a Nord. I guessed he went travelling. He heard about the war and probably about his parents being killed or something and decided to go home in repect. To explain why they aren't around and burying was a good reason to come home. Why else would you decide to head back if you knew there was a war on.

My character is a grizzled old imperial, imprisoned for 30 years in his homeland, during which time he went mad and dug his own eye out with his bare hands. He likes to sneak around and giving wedgies with his dagger or arrows. I always try to make these hard, slightly insane (to full on crazy) characters. Will post picture when I get back home to my stationary.

Mine is an imperial ex Cyrodil guard who fled with his 17 wives and 38 children to Skyrim to avoid the horrors of war.

Unfortunately his family was sent rocketing into space by a giant on the way. Enraged, he went on a murdering spree, but he wasn't very strong at the time and he only managed to kill 3 villagers, a chicken and 2 cows.
He was caught and for some reason branded alongside the Stormcloak.
He's having trouble adjusting to his new life, back in his day he was so used to guards saying "STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM" now all they talk about is getting arrows in their knees.

Well, my second one is my old one reincarnated back in time. And I suppose he's some guy. Arrested for being a suspect in a spree of shootings, usually involving the knees of his victims. Or for having wild sex with every female in Skyrim. They arrested him because they were jealous.

Mine was an argonian orphan raised under a retired legion scout, the only thing he had of his past was a stone with a dwarven symbol on it, got caught up by the imperials while entering skyrim due to proximity to Ulfrics capture and is unwilling to believe he is really dragonborn, he hates the stormcloaks for delaying him and explors alot of dwarven ruins but cant help but occasionally find more about the dragon born incase its a lead.

I like the believe my character (a male Breton with possible Nord ancestors) attracted too much attention while studying magic with the Synod in Cyrodiil. The Thalmor began taking an interest in his experiments and the Synod were all too eager to turn over his work to gain favor with the elves. He quickly gathered whatever he could and quickly fled to Skyrim, hoping a contact he knew would help him re-establish his research. Unfortunately his notes were confiscated after being mixed up with the Stormcloaks. Though encrypted they were likely destroyed by Alduin at Helgen. Though he distrusts the thalmor greatly, his time studying in Cyrodiil has left him sympathetic toward the Empire.

Bryhildr was born to to a Nord couple living in Cyrodiil. After her parents death, she decided to return to her ancestral home to try and connect with her past. While she is not happy about the Empire's capitulation to the Thalmor, the more she finds out about Ulfric the less she trusts the Stormcloaks either.

She spends most of her time these days traveling Skyrim with her new wife Mjoll, exploring the land of her people.

mine is a pragmatic empire mercenary, who basicly forgets about the whole "chosen one" thing and dicks around on his holy quest to find the lost teddy bear of his youth...

My first one was a Redguard hunter named Vaughn. He was arrested because he was believed to have been responsible for the deaths of Imperial soldiers who were escorting a prisoner (Redguards would be something of a target since Hammerfell and the Empire aren't on the best terms right now. In the process of driving the Thalmor out of the country, Hammerfell severed its ties to the Empire).

Alignment: True Neutral. He generally tries to do good, but doesn't really care about the law. He's also a servant of Hircine. Despite hating the Thalmor, he sided with the Empire because he despises the racism rampant in the Stormcloaks and he believes the Empire actually has the better shot of overthrowing the Thalmor. He does kill every single Thalmor patrol he sees.

So my character name is Ashrah Tryar.
She is level 21. She uses bows to take out people from far without being notice and a handaxe+magic combo for combat

The background start in Morrowind, when the first Ashrah turns out to be the Neverine. After the defeat of Dagoth Ur, she excluded herself from outside world and start living in between the Ashlanders. Upon her death several years later, a cult has created to secure her return when in time in need.

Waiting in the shadows, the cult start to grow outside of Morrowind, mostly in between Dumners, and start to call some attetion. Thanks to his "secrecy", the cult has to be considerate Deadra worship, so the empire destroyed most of the cult, except of little focus in Morrowind and a young girl named Secylia. Destined to die in a dungeon, she somehow manage to get herself involved in the what was later called the "Oblivion Crisis". In the middle of these events she discovers to be Ashrah... she is Ashrah's reincarnation.
The aftermatch lead to the incident in the Shivering Isles, when she was about to sit in the Throne of Madness and became the new Sheogorath, aware of her ultimate fate in madness, she divide her soul into two. The one who is about to became Sheogorath and the other half that will live again once the times comes.

200 years later, the cult is gone.
But Ashrah's soul ins't, and so the young Tryar is born in one the last Dumner tribes in Morrowind and since early age she shows talent in hunting and magic. As she hits maturity, she becames the tribes lider, the peace is short as some mercenaries goes to her tribe in order to pillage and collect slaves, Tryar and her tribe fought bravely, but they were outnumbered and was defeated.
She manages to escape with some others of her tribe, while the tribe's survivors headed to Cyrodiil seeking refugee, Ashrah headed in direction of Skyrim, trying lay a trap on those who caused her great sufferring, she didn't expect in falling in a imperial trap that it wasn't even set for her. And The Elder Scrolls V start.

Yes, I am crazy for giving my character such a long background that envolves Morrowind and Oblivion.

My name...is Phil.

Phil the Kitty.

I was adopted by a senile old Nord woman as a *ahem*, "pet gopher."

I was trained in the art of battle by a male Orc who'd taken to wandering and adopted me after the old woman died. He trained me in many things such as the use of shields, how to wear Heavy Armor and feel almost light as a feather, and Waraxes. All for the specific purpose of slaying him in epic axe-to-axe combat. That totally didn't leave me mentally and emotionally scarred at all.

Then I found out I was the Dovahkiin and was like, "Whatevs, I have Mammoths to hunt."
