Really? I mean, a few are, but mine at least (Minus the whole gassing them part) and most others are reasonable ideas. Clearly Vault-Tec will be run by Escapists. I sure hope so. I want those bobbleheads.

Mine would be a beneficiary scientific experiment.
Except for the fact that at the rates of Radiation increase stipulated, both the man and woman would be sterile by about 9 weeks. The speed was greatly exaggerated to keep with the suspension of disbelief, it would take probably 90 generations to make mankind even remotely tempered to ionizing radiation.

Vault 4251: Appropriately built for a human to live comfortably, with no entertainment except for ample supplies for an orchestra & conductor, to see if musical prodigality is inherent, or inducable[?].

Vault 925: the inhabitant of this vault live a life of luxury but every 2 hours and 30 minutes they have to suffer the the Hanson brothers MmmBop song everyday, until they raise 5000 dollars in cash to pay for a statue, the problem is they have no form of currency.

[sup]this was inspired by a true story from when I went to high school, the staff had the bright idea of torturing all the students with that Mmmbop song between every break, and after every class, until they raised enough money to pay for the senior plaque, sad to say for them they only raised 20 dollars.[/sup]

Vault 64's inhabitants consist entirely of musicians. All recording and instruments are provided to the inhabitants.

The vault is many, many rooms large. Each wing of the vault has a separate theme (forested, beach, retro apartment, urban decay, etc) every inhabitant must spend a month in every one of the separate wing, recording a song/album.

This vault is a test to see what effect environment has on an artist's music.

may not need to only deal with music (I just enjoy music a lot) could deal with novels, paintings, movies, etc.

Vault 3.14: The members of the Vault are divided up into castes.

The Master Class: The Overseer and the people in advisory positions. They hold absolute power over the Vault's operations.
The Enforcers: Your average Vault security force, except with much more rank and privelege. They hold a high amount of power over the Vault's operations.
The High Class: Doctors, scientists and whatnot. They hold a moderate amount of power over the Vault's operations.
The Middle Class: Artisans, writers, shop-owners, engineers, that sort of thing. They hold no power over the Vault's operations.
The Lower Class: The grunts. Shuffled into low-paying, maitenance positions and similar. Practically beggars. They are despised by everyone else.

The most important part: the lower the class, the more people there are in it. I hope to see a revolution in due time.

Vault 1718: A vault full of people that would normally be locked up inside insane asylums, straitjackets and all. And all of these lunatics are sealed inside the vault with no hope of exit, little food and water, and they are also exposed to subliminal messages over the loudspeaker encouraging cannibalism.

Meanwhile, the only sane person inside the vault is inside a secret compartment full of food and water, but he cannot leave, as the lunatics are armed with high-powered energy weapons and the vault is locked shut. Plus hearing the lunatics babble on and on is starting to wear away at his sanity.

Through a hole in the wall of the compartment the man can spot what looks like a secret exit out of the vault, and only he knows about it. So the question is, what will the man do? Risk his life to escape the vault full of cannibalistic lunatics, only to find himself in a nuclear wasteland bereft of life, or enjoy the comforts of the vault until the sound of the lunatics drives him insane?

Vault 1163

This vault was outfitted for everything needed for one man to live comfortably for several years. It was to be used by The Logician, in order for him to solve every problem known to man. If he couldn't do it, than certainly no one else could.

Unfortunately, it was only used for five minutes. Apparently, no one told The Logician what they needed his help with.

The Scene said:
The Logician: Hey! Hey you guys, at the door!

Guys at door: What?

Logician: What did I do to deserve this crap?

Guy 1: What are you talking about?

Logician: Just because it's a really fancy prison doesn't make it any less of a prison.

Guy 2: I thought you volunteered to go in there!

Logician: No, they just told me, "Hey, Ron, go in this vault thing for awhile!" I kid you not.

Guy 1: Oh. Well, you're supposed to be solving some problems

Logician: Are you kidding?

Guy 1: That's what we were told. So...solve some problems

Logician: I got bored one day and decided to solve all of humanity's problems. It was a long afternoon.

Guy 2: Well write it all down! We're ordered not to let you out until you've proven you've solved all of humanities problems!

Logician: I did write it down. It's in my apartment. Look for a bunch of five subject notebooks that say, "Big Book of Everything." All your answers should be there.

Guy 1: Oh. We'll tell the higher ups about it.

Guy 2: As soon as we're done with our shift.

Logician: Goddamn it. Would you guys happen to have a pack of cards or something?

Guy 2: No.

Guy 1: Sorry.

Logician: *sigh*
And so the scientists found the Big Book of Everything...and decided the public must never see it. It is currently being stored in Vault 1164.

Vault 1628

This vault is used to hide all of the weapons and plans that my friend has made for one reason: To kill Soldja Boy. Unfortunantly every time i say "Have you come any closer to killing soldja boy?" his plans get set back by a month. The plans will be back up to date and actually effective in the year 2784.

First, I must post to see just how many posts I have, since my brain is made of soft, old meat and I forgot.

There we go!

I am a resident of Vault 176! In addition to synthesizing the tasty foods we need to live, our machines also poured out a varied and freely available supply of mind-altering drugs! Self-medication isn't just a societal norm, it's an inalienable right! Being juiced up on Jet all the time is practically an expectation! Of course, when the vault door eventually did open, it LOCKED open, and now every junkie with functional eardrums has heard of the place and is making pilgrimage. We're getting a bit crowded, but we're always very friendly and welcoming!
