I started with Duck Hunt when I was about 3, then worked my way up to Doom/Wolfenstein 3-D, Hexen, Spear of Destiny and Doom 2 by the time I turned 5 or 6.Then I started plaung Donkey Kong Country. Then I started playing Age of Empires When I found a copy of the game for like 5 bucks in a half price game rack... I wish I knew where I put my friggin CD though. :(
Unfortunately my mother never allowed me to play anything besides pokemon on my fat gray gameboy when I was with her.

I have been playing games ever since my uncle let me and my little brother play sonic the hedgehog(I can't remember which one) on his old sega, back when the Sonic franchise was still good.

I was either 4 or 5, so either '96 or '97 and the first game I played was doom. I don't have responsible parents.

About 6 or 7. There was this cartridge console that I don't remember what it's called. And then there's this 2D volleyball game, this racing game with 5 levels where you chase and ram twats down because the cops in this game forget their guns every time, and... sonic? I'm not sure if that was my console or my cousins.
My broke eventually when I forgot to unplug the thing when I was done this one time. Either that, or it was an elaborate con my parents pulled.

Other than that, Load Runner for the PC!

Bruce Lee on the Commodore 64. Yeah, I'm 18, but that doesn't mean I can't start the way my dad did.

Hmm... Around 2000, playing Pokemon Gold on my color Gameboy and ignoring my friends and family. The sad bit is, is that I didn't even beat the game, and still haven't.

ninety-something, probably 1996 or 1997 (when I was 7-8), at least that's when I really started gaming and not just having it as a distraction when not playing sports or whatever.

I can't really remember my first gaming experience, but the first game I completed on my own was the first Command & Conquer - which my fondest gaming memory is still from, building enough barracks to cover 70% of the map and having enough soldiers to swarm the NOD base in a great, yellow sea of guns (GDI mission 3)

I think I started when I was 6 or 7, but I can't really remember all that well. I do remember that I grew up on a computer. Heck, one of the things that helped teach me to read at an extremely early age was Winnie the Pooh teaches Reading.

around 4 with Super Mario World on SNES. Then, I moved on to the much more violent Fallout and Fallout 2. Great transition.

5 or 6, my brother had a NES, and we sold each one to get the next system up until he went to college and gave me his N64, which I sold for a Gamecube and got a job for a PS2, sold them both for a 360 and then also got a Wii as a present. I don't remember who owned the Atari or what number it was but I played that when I was young too. I remember the Atari game "Barnstormer" (not sure about the name) I think I played that before we had the NES but I don't know when. The point being that there was always at least one console in my house for as long as I can remember.

umm, I remember my first video game being this big round controller you plugged straight into the tv and it went. it had about 100 games on it including things like spy hunter. except I lost the little book which told you what number to insert for each game so it was just a random guessing game till you found the one you wanted. then got a megadrive, then a pocket gameboy, then a ps1, then a N64, etc etc etc, and I've had pretty much every gaming system released since then.
