Buy Madworld? Or No More Heroes?
And Wii didnt go wrong.
Madworld looks good, but I hate those comic type games like 13. But can it compete to the likes of Killzone 2 or Gears? According to Play,
this ---> http://www.play.com/Games/Wii/4-/9236834/101-In-1-Party-Megamix-Wii/Product.html is what we have to look forward to.
Friend it's like you want to be flamed. So you ignored any good game that is coming out in the next 6 months, and are taking a review from play.com to be absolute truth? I could go on there and write a customer review stating that your final fantasy game (no clue which one by the way, care to let us know?) is the best thing since internet porn.
And what was the problem with No More Heroes by the way?
I haven't played No More Heroes so I am in no position to say anything bad about that. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Echoes of Time is the FF game is the one in question, if you remember Crystal Chronicles was originally out for the handhelds. Why is it though that the Wii gets Crystal Chronicles and the PS3 and Xbox get FF13? We get Resident Evil remakes and alternate versions and they get Resi 5. We get party games and movie ports, whereas they get s games by developers such as Bethesda and Valve and whatnot.
That mainly boils down to the consumer. They consider mature and main string titles to be a 'risk' and if we don't buy enough of them, then they wouldn't bother doing it again for a while (Zack and Wiki, for example).
Also, the title you have been waiting a long time for should be FFCC: The crystal Bearers, not Echoes of Time. Yes I do remember CC out for the handhelds, by the way. And quite frankly, I don't blame them for not porting FF13 to the Wii, it would probably take up too many discs.
As for remakes and alternate versions, we have had
one remake and
one alternate version. RE 5 could be easily ported, and who knows they may well do it later. Dead Rising, however, is a travesty of an effort on a game, so I blame Capcom for that.
As for you party games and movie ports comment,
every console get's movie ports. All of them. Party games yes there are many of them, but you appear to be refusing to look at any of the Wii titles that aren't party games, for example are any of these party games?:
Tenchu: Stealth Assassins
The Conduit
Murumasa: The Demon Blade
Kizuna
Winter
Cursed Mountain
Monster Hunter 3 (which was moved from the PS3 to the Wii, care to explain why?)
Tales of Graces
I can tell you now, that they aren't. If I were to compare the Wii to anything, it would be the PS2. Allowed itself to be host to much crap, but has a vast amount of solid titles over the span of it's life.
