Story time, about three years ago I was playing Halo 3 at my friend's house. I had a sniper rifle. When I walked around a corner, my friend was right there so i randomly fired at him and scored a perfect no-scope to the face. He then proclaims, "luckshot." and I was like, "dude, that would make a great gamertag!" So it did, And I use it as a screen-name everywhere else for convenience.

People "who understand me" also call me lyx in "real" life. Originally, many years ago, i just was looking for something that is short, implying directness and simplicity, yet also sounding a bit like a fantasy-setting name, and lastly was unique enough for it to be almost nowhere taken...

...a year later, i learned that those evil opensource people churn out apps en mass, always giving them short names, and that therefore it was utterly naive to have thought that it would be unique. Worst part is that i don't even like the app with the same name - it's a bloated piece of crap.

You may not know this but your fantasy-setting name is swedish for Luxury.
