It's a tradition thing. Does not in any form mean any genuine Christian who follows the Bible hates you, but that homosexuality is the equivalent of lying, stealing, etc. in the vein that our god says "do not do this." But my own beliefs AREN'T tolerated. There are some Christians who have killed atheists claiming to be doing "The work of God". As a result, why should I be tolerant of intolerance? People have insulted me and my beliefs many times (Mostly because I live in an area with a lot of elderly church-goers). I have always defended myself with the points I have made and have never once thought that it was a bad decision.
