Price, selection of games and location of store. EB Games, GAME and JB HiFi are within 20-30 minutes of my place whereas GAMETRADERS BLACKTOWN!!!!! is around an hour or so away, but I will be checking it out in a month or so.

Out of interest, do you know what happended to GAMETRADERS ROBINA!!!!! ? Because I couldn't find it on the site.

Also to anyone wondering, I have no evidence to show that GAMETRADERS NORTHLAND!!!!! isn't run by regular people, so I'm forced to assume that it's run entirely by Stormtroopers. Could GAMETRADERS NORTHLAND!!!!! get any more awesome?

www.play-asia.com
They deliver free to mainland China (and other places in Asia) they have great deals all of the time and give you a $5 voucher with every purchase. The voucher works if you spend over $50 so I buy my games in twos! They tell you if 360 games are region free, so if you guys are in Europe or even the US you should check it out.

Asian 360 releases are usually $50, the occasional game is cheaper (Crackdown 2 was under $40) or more expensive (Modern Warefare was $55-60). For anyone worried about language the packaging and games come in two ways. Some have English and Chinese while others have only English (some publishers just release the region free Aussie version in Asia).

I've been buying off them for almost 4 years now and I've had no problems!

Another site for retro gamers is www.videogameimports.com
The guys who run this place really know their stuff, the prices may seem high to some, but the item desciptions are impeccible. I've been buying from them since 1990. Perfect if you collect Japanese games for Sega, Nintendo systems as well as SNK and NEC etc.

Ebay is where I go for other random games, but I'm very choosy. Some people don't know what mint condition means and there're a lot of shops who don't know the difference between an original and a re-release.

gamestop and steam for buying, blocknuster for renting.
Blockbuster right?

I like Blockbuster and growing up I used it to rent N64 games and gameboy advance when they did that Problem is that they don't really have the best selection, and the prices are...well not worth it to be honest.

I've bought my last 20 games from Steam or other online sellers, such as Direct2Drive and TellTale Games. But mostly it's Steam for me. Back when I was still buying PS2 and original XBox games, it was gamestop (for the incredibly cheap, old, used games).

g2play games offers some cheap serials, I have used them several times and the keys are legit and working, if not local store or amazon.

I buy pretty much everything from Amazon. Pretty much everything there is half-priced or lower. Awesome.

Sometimes I buy from Gamestation if they have a good deal going. Their used game prices aren't too bad.

For new games I usually use the internet as they're usually that much cheaper. Shopto and Amazon have always been rather good. DVD.co.uk is also pretty good.

I refuse to buy from GAME. The one local to me employs some really stupid people, who can't even tell when a game is pirated, and when brought up with them, they patronizingly state it's an import.

I also like to use small businesses as they always have good prices, plus you can get to know the owner and can have a good chat about games and stuff, bit of banter is always good. Plus they usually have a better selection of retro/old games than large chain stores.

Amazon definitely, free next day delivery, price-beating pre-orders, it has it all for me.

I also use eBay for those hard to find games or older games that won't be in shops!
