This is a theory I had about death.

When you die, your life gets rewound back to the beginning when you were born and since your a baby your memories are partly erased (hence the de-ja-vu in some parts of your life). Then you start all over again trying to make better choices then you did last. And that's why we have celebrities... They realized what they did wrong in their lives and turned it around.
But what you forget is that all actions are caused by previous actoins and reactions. You're kidding yourself if you say that things can happen in a different way, because we oursleves are only oursleves through the actions happening artound us.

But then you've got time travel...

Edit: Oh, and if i knew i had to go through life agian after this i'd kill myself now

My first instinct was to say you go to Narnia.

But i'm very much into the thought of reincarnation. If anything its the only one i can fathom out logically.
I mean take basic physics. You cannot ever create or destroy energy. Energy is constantly being converted from one thing to another, and we all have energy in our bodies. Some more than others but that isn't the point.
What happens when we die? Well some physists say your energy returns to the earth to be converted into some other form of energy etc.
That at the very least reinforces my notion of reincarnation.

The ground. Sorry to be so blunt.
I do like to think though that we come back as someone else in another time. Potentially then we could all be the same person.

When you die you do just that , and after you die you simply cease to exist , no heaven , no hell , no ghosts , no nothing , your brain dies and with your brain , you die. I'm pretty sure this is the way it's going to happen .

Probaly get stabbed round here or somewhere.

EDIT: LOL sorry, I read it as "Where do you think you will die?"

To anwser the actual question, I'm not sure, but you probaly just cease to be, as horrible as it is to think about, it's the most likely result.

You become a ghost and are destined to roam the earth in search of a yellow man. However the man is also looking for some balls so that he can reduce you to nothing but a pair of eyes. If you can find the yellow man three times then your soul will finally be at rest.

Not sure but.. Bad folks don't go to heaven where the angels fly. They go to a lake of fire and fry. If Kurt Cobain (RIP) is to be believed

I think when you die, you die. The Bible is so full of things that make no sense that I can't see the typical Christian afterlife existing. I think that the afterlife was made up for people to believe in because they are afraid of the unknown (i.e. death) and when fear takes a hold, people will believe absolutely anything except that obvious answer which is staring them in the face.

I could be wrong, but it's just what i think.

I don't think I'll go anywhere, I'm pretty sure I'll just be worm food. Why waste time thinking about the "afterlife"? I think people just make themselves believe there is more to life than there really is, so that they feel comfort in death. I don't think there is any message hidden in life waiting to be found and revealed, you live life and then you die.

Nowhere. A stop to bloodflow to the brain means a cease to consciousness. Same as sleeping without dreams, or being knocked out. Nothing. Forever. Depressing, I know. But true. As far as I believe anyway.

Might I remind you that people have been dead for extended periods of time before being resuscitated. What did they report? Nothing. Proof.

I think when you die, that's it. You're gone. You just ceast to be in existance. I don't plan on finding out if I'm right anytime soon though.

I'd imagine it's like all of your senses shutting down one by one.

Your sight disappears. The dream-like image of the hospital ceiling gradually fades to black.
Your hearing goes numb, dull tone of the heart monitor moving further away, echoing the sound of your own death.
Your taste stops. You used to taste blood on your tongue, but you can't now. You think the blood might be seeping down your chin. You try to taste it, reach it with your tongue, but you can't move it. Something is holding it back.
The clean smell of the hospital gradually fades to nothing.
You try to hold your mouth, to stop the blood flowing, but you feel nothing. You see nothing. You hear nothing. In time, you are nothing.
Holy shit, that was awesome.

It don't matter, when we die we die. Until the universe collapses, and is reborn. This means we will be reborn, living the exact same lives out again and again with no memory of the last. In a few hundred billion years i will be posting this exact thing again.

see ya then

I believe that when you die you're either incinerated or you decay slowly. Or not at all if you happen to die somewhere really bloody cold.

Sad thing is, you'd never know if you were right, 'cos the moment you were... qualified... to say "AHA! I WAS RIGHT!" You'd be dead :p

That was certainly an interesting read. It's always great fun to read something like that, really gets you thinking.

I'm having some rather interesting thoughts on this subject right now, but I'm having a hard time compiling them into readable material. Lousy brain and it's complexity.

I shall sleep on it and return tomorrow.

My opinion: you go where you deserve to go, be it Heaven, Hell, or whatever you believe. My personal belief is Christianity, but I don't presume to know what happens to those who don't share my faith. That's in God's hands alone and not for me to decide.

What I am certain of is that there's more to life than just this mere existence. Whether you believe in evolution or creation, the chances of this planet bearing life in the first place are so random, so small, that there has to be something that caused it in the first place. Things just don't pop up from nothing.
