THE WORLD! That would just be awesome to travel all around the world. Go to Russia, China, Alaska, even New York. Makes the perfect online mumorpurger! (Get the reference?)

Not that it would ever happen but Australia. You could have muti-kangaroos disembowling you.

How about Fallout: Iowa? Let's see what the Mormons think of the nuclear apocalypse.

You are thinking Utah, and according to the fallout bible Mormonism is thriving.

I gotta go with New York as well. You know, Manhattan Island and the surrounding area, like the Hudson River and such.

That's the one! I knew I should have double-checked. Damn faulty memory. Got Iowa on the brain since Paul Gray has died.

colorado how sick would it be climbing up mountains and stuff trying to kill the tribals at the mountain top
Contrary to popular belief, Colorado isn't all mountains and snow. Denver (and most other major cities) are along the eastern plains.

However, it would be cool doing something around Cheyenne Mountain and the surrounding area, especially Colorado Springs. Get some Focus on the Family mutants running around...now that's scary as hell.

Australia mate ;) Nah just kidding, that would be pretty boring. Although Melbourne and Sydney might not be too bad. Anywho, I would like the next one to be in LA. I always wanted to go to LA.

Cleveland...for more than one reason. I'm biased because I live in Cleveland, but at the same time, it's a city that's not too strong now a days, and while not getting worse, it's by no way getting better, making it less impacted by the bombing. However, if you think about it, since the east coast was probably hit more, D.C., ect, it's probably feeling the effect of shockwaves, buildings weakened, radiation there. Plus there's the entire Lake Erie above, with some island that are visitable in either game play or DLC

It's a perfect candidate for new growth in story, new factions able to pop up, few probably visiting festive Cleveland w/ very little going for it. However, we do have the Rock and Roll hall of fame, a football stadium that would be an ideal base for either a city or military group, and terminal tower, a building that while seeing the effects of the nuclear fallout, still stands next to totaled building, it's upper levels and ground floor filled with outcasts and a thriving civilization, with ghouls only a breath away outside by the rapids

Why take a city that's known for something, or close to anything? Any city that's not that popular but still popular enough to be known. Any relitivley unknown city that's not too popular makes for an unique story line, new factions, and a fabulously fantastic story line. Plus Cleveland is just a great city ^^

Space. Spaced makes everything better... or you know, ruins it.

Really I don't care no matter where its set it will have the common theme of wrecked buildings and a desolate wasteland. No matter was there before the nothingness of the land and brokenness of the buildings, it will still look roughly the same.

Hmmm, that's a good question. Part of the charm of the fallout games is seeing the cutesy-poo Americana of old times combined with a gritty, violent and desolate world so anywhere other than the United States would probably lose most of the appeal.

So in that respect I'd have to say...New York City. I've been to that place so many times in videogames (And a few times in real life) that I"d have a clear advantage when having to run my characters ass away from super mutants.

It would never happen in San Francisco because that place got butt raped in the Fallout universe.

How about Seattle? Fuck... I love Seattle, we would see the Black Hole Sun sculpture, and the Space Needle, and so many references to the Grunge movement!

I'd like to see how mainland europe would hold up.
Also, New Zealand probably wouldn't get hit by nukes and could be like an isolated area with no knowledge of what happened.
