So the Elections are coming up here in the UK to decide the next cause for a ruling in parliament, but does anyone else think we're left with a restricted choice?
I can so far work out that Labour favours a more Social-Democratic standpoint, whereas our Conservatism approach seems to have adapted to a more universal standpoint, compromising between traditional conservative beliefs and that of our current government. The Liberal Democrats are hardly anything unique, either, they opt for a more integrated method of Liberalism not too different from our current regime.
Why is it our country has such a limited choice, whereas mainstream American politicians range dramatically? Fundamental Liberalism works completely fine over there, besides the lack of universal healthcare of course; but you still get the impression that a truly Left/Right vote can count.
I myself believe in Egalitarian-Libertarianism, which seems to have no recognition what-so-ever in England. It's almost as if the main 3 parties have some kind of absolute-centrist policy with our Queen, or something.
So then, does anyone else think our country is restricted of choice. Also, would implementing the American style of government work better, do you suppose?
