Where'd you get your username(s)?

Vothros = cesspool in greek, and thriller is thriller. The initial idea was for the name of a mock death metal band which was never created.

Edit:

Partly that humour and comedy are hugely important to me, and partly as a kinda 'early warning' that I might slip into darker areas for my witty comments sometimes.

I figure if you read the name 'Sense of Tumour' then you already had a warning that it might not be entirely inoffensive.

But mostly everywhere else I use Visceral,, I like it cause of the letter formation and the way it sounds (makes a for something cool when people need to call out your name in game), but most of all I like the meaning of it .

It was a suggested name when I tried to join a site a few years back and the name I wanted was already taken. I just saw it sitting there in the list and wanted it instantly. Kinda surprised something like this would've been programmed as a suggested name. I'd never seen it anywhere else so I've just been using it as my typical username for everything I've signed up for since.

I actually came up with mine a long while ago in 2007. I was playing this online game called Stick Arena, and my original name was CrazyDudeRock. Then when I was making an account on DeviantArt, I didn't like the sound of my old name, so I changed it to CrazyMacYo, and I've stuck with it since.

Mine is rather complicated, it's the last syllable of my name in Irish spelled phonetically and then doubled up because I felt Veen didn't stand up well enough by itself. Veenveen just had more of a ring to it I guess.

My name in Irish is Caoimhín. I get people who can't read Irish to try pronounce it when they are drunk. Good times.

To be honest it's still just as funny when they CAN read Irish, and still drunkenly mispronounce it.

True, throwing my massive surname on the end of it only adds to the hilarity. Or any of my non Irish friends, well they just laugh at it and give me my student card back. They know not to try.

My other username is quagthias which is a combination of quagmire and matthias, two names that I thought sounded cool back when AIM was new and I had to create my first username, and I haven't stopped using it since.

My GT is ThisIsGoatFace, which is an obscure Homestarrunner reference.

I got my username from the second season of The Big O. its a giant robot anime and it is one of my three favorite animes. Alex Rosewater is the main bad guy in the second season...
