You posted some stuff as if it were evidence of something. It wasn't. This still isn't evidence.

I am taking these shots at face value, I believe they are real insomuch as they are not altered screen shots. I just don't know what they aim to prove. That Zoe Quinn had a problem with some competition? Okay, so what? Oh right somebody else is claiming that she wielding her "influence" to shut them down and refused to engage despite them trying. Show me proof of that stuff, THAT'S the stuff that needs evidence because that's the part that matters.

I am not being dishonest, you may well have this proof and be forgetting that everybody in internet land isn't following this with as much vigour as you are.

Exactly... I'm pretty sure someone is a social justice warrior by being an extremist caricature who thinks they're doing things to help the world and won't shut up about it, but in reality just complain about things to feel better and inflate their sense of unwarranted self importance.

If someone was actually improving the world, they wouldn't be an SJW. Unless they happened to be by coincidence... but SJW's tend to be malicious parasites so that's an unlikely combination since it involves both work and caring, which leaves less time for complaints and drawing attention for attention's sake.

e.g. Martin Luther King was not a Social Justice Warrior, because among other things:
A. He actually attempted constructive things he thought would help humanity.
B. He didn't complain or draw gratuitous attention nearly enough to be an SJW.
C. He was in actual physical danger because of the things he decided to do to try to change society (this is an important one; if Anita Sarkeesian was MLK, she probably would have mailed a bullet to herself or something for instance).

(Or actually, I'm just imagining Sarkeesian as MLK: she distributes a photo of a gunshot wound, with what is clearly the gun used in the attack visible in the background, mere seconds after being shot ;D)

To be a bit more serious though, I'd hesitate to call the Escapist PRO-GG too. They gave the pro side a home for discussion, but by Tito's own admissions he's not in support of this or the slander they spread one bit. And based on the punishments I've seen handed out, I'd say a lot of the mods probably aren't on the pro-side either.

Indeed, and the assumption that the 'general community' here is 'pro-Gamergate' is a bit presumptuous. That one poll shows that, of the people who could be arsed to vote at all, only 37.3% of them consider the GG cause 'a solid case about journalistic ethics' while the remaining people see it as something that either lacks a solid foundation, bears a solid foundation that is decidedly different from the one GG is professing, or is completely incapable of ever having a solid foundation. At the very least, I think it could only be safe to assume that the Escapist community sees the movement as very murky and that GG supporters using this graphic as propaganda to attract more of their ranks to these forums.

I want diversity in games especially in ones where you make your own character cause I'm sick of picking male and then playing the broad shouldered power fantasy type who only has like three body types, all which are lame while the girls get to be sexy and such.

Not fair man, some of us like to crossdress and play someone trans or gay. Just saying, I draw lots of fabulous boys and I want to play a fab boy . . . instead I must play female and pretend she's male, hoping they have a slider for a flat chest.

Personal preference sure, but still, it is kind of annoying. I only favor girls in fighters cause I like to play feminine, but something makes me giggly if a feminine character is male.

I scrolled down her feed as far as I felt like it and there was no shortage of "Omg I'm totes the evil internet overlord" and many varieties on "yes, I'm doing the thing you're accusing me of, random harrasser, you are so smart". You should probably stop looking to her twitter for confessionals.

It frankly looks like she's baiting you guys into breathlessly reposting these and making you look silly. This is not impressive evidence unless you already went in believing.

Thanks. I still don't think that proves she personally had anything to do with it (beyond commentating) but I can't see why an unbiased reporting of fact would be a problem for wikipedia as it does seem to have something to do with the quagmire that is "gamergate".
