Which alignment do you prefer to play as (when given the choice)?

If I'm playing an RTS or empire builder, I usually play as pragmatic but slightly vengeful good
If I'm playing an FPS or an RPG, totally evil, because it's just funnier that way

Chaotic evil, for some reason my "friend" calls me a bastard because I don't choose good, I just find good too boring, if it's a game where your main target is kill people I'm going to kill people, not take orders from them.

Fallout 3 has people randomly give you things like money and stimpaks

I've played as good all the way through Fallout 3 and nobody has given me a thing. I've heard you get gifts but nobody gives them to me :/

You wander around Megaton? That's where I always get the stuff. Ammo, caps, stimpaks, etc.

No specific alignment, my actions vary from situation to situation, so I might slaughter an entire village one day because they have materials I want, and another day I might go the extra mile to help someone because they seemed nice and worth helping. I guess I'd be neutral evil because I mostly do things to benefit myself though I often act evil for fun as well so eh.

I prefer Chaotic Neutral / Good, though currently in my friends just started a new campaign and I am a Paladin. Luckily its of Kord so I'm unaligned.

Unfortunately that means we are using 4e.

Who are you supposed to talk to? I've tried talking to the random settlers around town0 and many of the NPC's and none of them give me a thing.

I go into it with the best intentions... But frustration will cause me to be bad, ie killing lucas simms and confessor cromwell (a large number of times) for bobblehead and... well, out of hate. I feel bad after though, so I cannot play as fully evil... its too much

Hmm... that's odd. Maybe I just need to play more or something? I don't know.

Don't feel bad, I killed Lucas too. I tried to kill Cromwell too (he annoys me so much) but apparently the people of Megaton didn't like that very much and they all started shooting at me... is there a way to kill him without everyone trying to kill you for it?

chaotic neutral or lawful neutral either way i can play it..... chaotic lets me do what ever, and lawful neutral my last few chars have been this... but they also where members of the church
