Keep in mind, I'm not asking for a new anime. I just have a long list of animes to watch and am at a loss as to which one I should watch next. Be sure to give reasons why. Understand?

Clannad

Berserk

Cromartie High School

Penguin Musume Heart

Sugar, A Little Snow Fairy (What?)

UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie

High School of the Dead

To Aru Majutsu no Index

Gurren Lagan (spell check?)

K-On

Excel Saga

Welcome to the NHK

Moon Phase

Sayonara Zetsubuo Sensei

His and Her Circumstances

Love Hina

Oh yeah, if anyone knows where I could find the episodes of Haruhi Suzumiya in chronological (aka "Haruhi's") order, let me know.

Clannad. Warning, it may leave you depressed and crying while laughing at the same time.

K-on, seriously watch it, and never ever watch Highschool of the dead, just an excuse to show tits, panties and sniping making a girl climax...seriously the artist was making hentai before this, and it shows =/

Cromartie High School OR Excel Saga.

I say Cromartie High School because of overall 'feel-good' factor and humour, and I say Excel Saga because its downright weird and hilarious. Plus the Puu-chuu music is insane and makes me grin like a maniac. I used to have a fluffy menchi but he was stolen by an ex! I'll show him...

Seconded, Gurren Lagann is made up of all kinds of awesome, has all kinds of emotional moments but it'll make you feel satisfied most off all.

Well, what are you in the mood for? If you want something a bit more "adult"/"mature" with a great storyline, I'd vote Berserk. It's one of my favorite anime and manga, so this one gets my overall vote as well. If you're in the mood for something ridiculously, awesomely over-the-top, give Gurren Lagann a go. For a cynical comedy, go for Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei. And, of all the slice-of-life things you've got, I'd vote for Clannad. Really, I'd say it's all in what you feel like watching at the moment.

Clannad - I'd assume you're gonna follow with 'After Story'?

Gurren Lagan (spell check?) - If you're looking for over the top action, but that's about it.

K-On - If you want moe moe moe.

Excel Saga - This is a great series, if you're into some really odd comedy and parodies.

Berserk - Read the manga instead. Anime is rather mediocre.

I agree with both choices, but if I have to choose 1, then Excel Saga. It is demented and wrong on several levels and that's why I love it. Watch Cromartie next though.

High School of the dead is good if copious amounts of fanservice don't bother you. Seriously, we're talkin' strike-witches level fanservice here.

Gurren Lagann is...

You know how people say "X is like Y but on Z" where Z is a drug? Well Gurren Lagann is like a really good Mecha Anime on every drug ever!

Not to give any spoilers, but the last two episodes of Excel Saga = Pure genius.

Clannad: Dont watch the anime, read the VN instead, seriously.

Berserk: Pretty awesome, also has a sequel in the making. Finally.

Cromartie High School: Great humor, what else is there to say?

Penguin Musume Heart: Why would you even want to watch this? It's garbage.

Sugar, A Little Snow Fairy: Nothing much to say here, cute, childish anime aimed at little girls and 30-year-old men.

UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie: Not seen, doesn't look very promising though.

High School of the Dead: Ugh. No. Zombies + anime sounds like it could have potential, but you won't find it here.

To Aru Majutsu no Index: I hate Index, but it's got to be popular because of something, so try it, I guess.

Gurren Lagan: Brainless thrill ride, very enjoyable, not very sophisticated. (That means it's good)

K-On: It's alright, but I've seen better humor and better moe elsewhere.

Excel Saga: Decent humor, often hit and miss however.

Welcome to the NHK: Great, still one of my favorites, although the book and manga are slightly better than the anime.

Moon Phase: If I say I liked it I won't be able to face myself in the mirror. But I did. Not much to say about it, cute characters, silly story, fanservice, etc.

Sayonara Zetsubuo Sensei: Amazing art, great humor, goes "extreme" in second season, which you may or may not like.

His and Her Circumstances: Never seen.

Love Hina: Don't know, I liked it but it's so old now I highly doubt it's still very enjoyable. One of the first popular harem and it's been copied to death.

In conclusion: How should I know? You threw several genre on there, so watch what you want. If this is everything on your list, I'd say:
Action: Berserk, TTGL
Humor: Cromartie, Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei
Slice of life: Depends, either K-On or Sugar, whatever has more "appeal" to you.
Romance: His and Her circumstances (because you'll read Clannad)

Oh and add NHK somewhere on there, too.
