Am I the first one to say Brutal Ledgend 2? seriously loved that game. It was too bad some people got to the RTS part of the game and went "BOO! I wanted Actshunz (and witty jack black quotes)"

Edge of Twilight. I don't think it's technically cancelled, but it's in the dreaded development hell.
Ninja'd by the first post. This game looks amazing, and while I despise IGN, they say it's dead. I don't fully believe them but then again I haven't heard anything about the game in a while.

Not my favourite necessarily, but I'd like to see the Advent Rising trilogy completed. I hate that they cancelled it after the first which I really enjoyed. It had fantastic potential.

I would have liked to see The Saboteur 2.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 3. Never played the first two because I can't seem to find them, but I hear they were quite good. And I bet that they would include a remake if they did make this game.
Was there ever an idea for a Saboteur 2? The first was great, one of the most thoroughly enjoyable sandbox games I've ever played. Shame EA shut Pandemic down just after its release.

Interesting that you'd like a new title of a series you haven't played ;-) Dark Alliance 1 & 2...not on eBay or anything? They were quite good games, not fantastic but enjoyable and worth seeing thru to the end. They weren't AD&D based (at least not obviously) but more hack n' slash dungeon crawlers, and there's no link or reference to the Bhaalspawn saga.

It may or may not be canceled but Beyond good and Evil 2, give me a sign that its still alive.
BGAE2 is most certainly not cancelled. It's in development at Ubisoft, headed by the same guy who did the first. I give Ubi much credit for this one, that they, unlike almost any other publisher are willing to take a chance on a wonderful game despite the sadly poor sales of the first.

It's dead?! I hope not, I looked pretty good.
I was also looking forward to Armada of the Damned too, it looked like Fable at sea.

Sam & Max 2. Before lucasarts decided to stop developing games and only started churning out star wars stuff.

It was pretty far, the trailer(s) showed that it was much more edgy than the direction telltale took the games later on (max jumping on top of a perp shouting "why" "can't" "you" "just" "die", etc. Can't see that sort of stuff on a ttg game..).

Full throttle 2, as it was being made, wasn't really promising, especially since the original designer wasn't on it. Would love to see a proper sequel though.

Starcraft: Ghost has already been mentioned about half a dozen times...

I guess a much more polished version of Thrill Kill would be neat...

I was really looking forward to Mega Man Universe.

I was also a really big Jet Moto fan, so I was sad to see Jet Moto: 2124 go.

Fear Effect Inferno would have been nice as well.

Just off the top of my head, here, so I apologize for the weird spacing.

Warlords battlecry 4, always loved the warlors series, to bad there wont be any more of them :(.

And some other game i realy wanted to se was called "project offset".http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkoi6WCCJHY
It was basicly a new made company that had created their own gaming engine for this game, and it looked so good at that time. Heck it still looks like it could compete with lots of games graphic wise. The game itself was a fantasy action game. But they got employed by some major gaming company and got stuck at only improving the companys gaming engine -.-.

Landstalker Portable.....the original landstalker for the sega megadrive is one the best 90's rpg's ever created and when the psp came out they immediately started working on a psp remake of it....they even had a playable beta of it at a gaming convention a few years back....sega....this could have been the 1 game that could pull you out of the recent sonic game mediocrity.....such a shame....such a shame...

Within just the first page of threads my one choice had been said about 5 times. Starcraft: Ghost. I have little interest in the Starcraft games, but this one intrigued me because it was so different.

Ride to Hell, Edge of Twilight and This Is Vegas. The first two aren't officially cancelled but they've been absent for quite a while now!

Over the years there have been many ideas that never led to a completed product... which ones had you excited? Feel free to include anything that's not technically cancelled but looks unlikely to ever be released.

My nomination is B.C. I'm almost certain it would have been a case of Peter Molyneux biting off more than he could chew, but it did have some serious potential.

How bad could a game with dinosaurs like this be?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCzLbJxp1V8
I had a friend who worked on B.C. and the problem was that they could get the graphics working fine and the actual game running fine but there wasn't enough power in the orginal X-box to get the two to run together at the same time. I'm sure some techy could proberly explain it better than I could.

For me it would be Elite 4 (on indefinate hiatus at least til Frontiers next games been made) and Space Quest 7, but not the second cancelled version where known of the prior development team was involved and in fact the new team had been banned from playing the original games. Actually why arn't you making this yet Telltale?
