I'd probably go for a movie adaptation of Superman: Red Son.

Awesome comic. A risky thing to do as a movie. I think, however, that Superman and his general mythos are so engrained in American pop culture that you could make it and people would know what's going on.

I don't know who I'd cast as Supes, but I'd probably cast Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor again as he was a really good choice IMHO.

Speaking of Ennis and a AO rating: a "Crossed" movie would be cool and would get a sure ban in several countries.
I actually really like the original Crossed series (the rest is just terrible) and think it would be a great movie if only for one thing, basically a giant fuck you to all the armchair zombie survivalists. You won't survive, you won't be the hero, but you will be beaten to death by a horse's cock.

It's also go quite a bit of dark humour and some hope inspiring moments, like seeing the wild wolves.

Motherfucking Deadpool Movie.

Dont even bother going into origins for this guy. Have him already in the suit doing crazy shit and the character will speak for itself.

And for goodness sake Marvel. Give it an R rating. Being struck at PG-13 is one of the things holding Wolverine back. Wade needs to have that crazy over the top violence.

Cast
- John Simm as Deadpool
- Shia Lebeouf as Weasel, just because he'll get his ass abused through the whole moive.
-Harrison Ford as Cable
Deadpool IS Getting a movie. Ryan Renolds is DP but I think you may have been onto something with Lebeouf as weasel. Oh, and they retconned the living fuck out of x-men origins wolverine, so it isn't THAT deadpool.

OP: I wanna see them do a good Nightwing movie.
Nightwing is the man.

That`s a big reminder for the "salt against crossed" part. Way to go for any survival guide specialists.
I have only read the first storyline and the next (Lapham) and i thought they were both good. Ennis will do another little run on the series and i`m going to check it out for sure.

I'm not a huge fan of Family Values and Psycho. But yeah I might check Ennis' Badlands.

I've got a couple of choices.

Either The Runaways(as a comic series, because trying to do movies with characters that hardly age enough to notice over a long time is impossible with children) or Y-The Last Man.

Howard the Duck.

Why?

Why not.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howard_the_Duck_%28film%29 I seriously suggest a watch; it's brilliantly awful.

As for my pick; I wouldn't mind seeing Weapon Zero made into a movie. It's short enough, and you could cut out the cross over stuff as unnecessary. It also follows conventional Hollywood plot formats (love interest, alien invasion, conspiracy). I just thought the characters were well done (and there are few of them to actually give each one screen time and cover several cultural markets at once) and actually kept death permanent (wonderfully rare in comic books). There's enough action and plot points to easily drive a movie without overwhelming it with needless detail.

The only real wrinkle is the imagery; the bio-tech itself would be difficult to translate well.

I'd go for the following:

Cloak & Dagger [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloak_and_Dagger_(comics)]
Director: Duncan Jones [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duncan_Jones]
Cast: Nathan Stewart-Jarret [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curtis_Donovan] - Tyrone Johnson/Cloak (link to his Misfits character, his own page has no pic), Anna Kendrick [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna_Kendrick] - Tandy Bowen/Dagger, Giancarlo Giannini [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giancarlo_Giannini] - Silvio Manfredi/Silvermane, Vin Diesel [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vin_diesel] - D'Spayre.

ROM [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rom_(comics)]
Director: Neill Blomkamp [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neill_Blomkamp]
Cast: Ray Winstone [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ray_Winstone] - ROM (voice), Karen Gillan [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karen_Gillan] - Brandy Clark, Kieran Culkin [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kieran_Culkin] - Steve Jackson, Max von Sydow [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_von_Sydow] - Mentus (voice).

Strikeforce: Morituri [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strikeforce:_Morituri]
Director: Matthew Vaughn [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_Vaughn]
Cast: Too many to think about (see the Wikipedia page above for explanation if you aren't familiar with the series), but I was partial to the First Generation, so I'd have Emily Browning [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emily_Browning] - Alina Pagrovna/Blackthorn, Robert Sheehan [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Sheehan] - Harold Everson/Vyking, Sam Worthington [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Worthington] - Robert Greenbaum/Marathon, Kandyse McClure [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kandyse_McClure] - Jelene Anderson/Adept, at least.

The Sandman, without a doubt. I would take careful planning to find the right writers and producers for the job. It would need to be perfect in every aspect. Also, I think Benedict Cumberbatch would be perfect for the role of Dream, don't you think?

Well, I'd like to see a movie of either, Deadpool, The Justice League, Blue Beetle, Bone, Fables or Gen13.

I wouldn't care if they were live-action or animated, it really doesn't matter.

So I have complete creative control over the project? Well in that case its easy. Y: The Last Man. Only make it a TV series (preferably on HBO, the comic is kinda heavy on the old nudity in places) and use the comics as story boards. It would make the whole project moot however.

Failing that...

Witchblade. Clean up the origin story a little bit, and you have a good vehicle for a strong female lead. If it had been done about five Years ago, I could have seen Eva Mendes as Sara. Also, with franchises being the in thing nowadays, Witchblade would be the perfect starting point for the rest of the Top Cow universe. The Darkness would be the next one, obviously, with Jackie probably being in a post credits teaser, and that would obviously introduce the Angelus, probably take things from there.

Vertigo Imprints Sandman:
This would make a brilliant movie, full of wonderful visuals and unusual conflicts. Why it hasn't been picked up for production yet when some of Gaiman's lesser works like Mirrormask have, I will never know.
At a guess, such a movie would be very risky, financially. It would have to be extremely long at least, and a series more likely, just to cover the character study of Morpheus that makes the whole point of the comics: the question of who he is and how much he can change.

The Secret of The Unicorn- so we can just erase Spielbergs horrible Tintin movie from our minds once and for all.

That is, after I've made adaptations of all the previous Tintin comics, in order, starting with Tintin in America (I doubt Congo and Soviets would go down that well... with anyone).

Also, Biggles Spitfire Parade, because we need more air combat films with zero romance, dammit!

Seriously- we need this action up on the silver screen, like, yesterday.

I don't get some of the hate that attaches to Spielberg's Tintin. I'm a massive fan of the comics, the original films and I quite enjoyed it, albeit on a different level.

QUESTION.

I don't care who directs, or acts. But I would LOVE a Question movie.

And Black Canary.

And Deadpool.

And Green Arrow.

And Ms. Marvel.

And Beta Ray Bill.

And Black Panther.

And Blue Beetle.

And Teen Titans.

And Hawkeye.

And Mockingbird.

And Venom.

And Dr. Strange.

...

You know, we might be here for a while.

EDIT: Nicolas Cage might be a good Question, that lovable nutbag.

Now a Teen Titan's movie would be great, if they did Titans from around the Countdown to Infinite Crisis era.
