Don't all artists go on about how songs have "deep meaning" and lots of emotion in them?
So I think that all the artists ripping on emos is a little hypocritical to me. Leave them to do what they like, iI say...
Anyway, back on topic and I declare the thread wrong because the coolest band ever is Mastodon, and they're awesome.

I can see your reasoning then. They started out alot harder, and got softer and more mellow. In that case, i would not reccomend anything past aenema, its more of the same. Not for everyone.laikenf said:

Ok, I agree with Linkin Park, Green Day, and RHCP, but Iron Maiden, AC/DC and Metallica? Iron and AC/DC are just good to listen too, there are few songs by them that are just straight up bad. But I suppose if you've only really listened to Metallica's new stuff you'd be able to say that. Pretty much anything made by Metallica after 1995 was crap, except for their S&M concert wit the symphony orchestra. That was pretty awesome. Personally, i don't see what all the hate for My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy is for. There songs are fairly catchy and well done, even if there "image" sucks a giant cocksickle. However fall out boy (apart from Petemotherfuckingwentz) are pretty good. Patrick stump is a pretty talented singer and guitarist (listen to "The take over"). Still, i can see why they would be hated. But really, there music isnt that bad.

I have to say i absoloutly DESTEST them.
They have absoloutly NO talent, there singer sounds drunk, there lyrics are completely pointless, and there sound is overproduced an so full of bullshit, it makes me want to throw up.
The other factor that annoys me is all the little scene kids sitting there have orgasms over them because there "Nu Rave" music. Jesus christ, they suck.
If you think they're good, you need some sense knocked into you.
