Which game gave you the most playtime of any game you've ever played? (Besides WoW)

Wolfenstein Enemy Territory, played it for 4 years for atleast 3-4 hours on week days and 4-6 on Weekends was utterly addictive and such an awsome game. Must have clocked up thousands of hours on it.

To think an FPS as well...

That was school days though and I had no responsibilities what so ever so I could waste away time like that, not these days, enjoy being a kid while you can.

I assume by besides WoW, you mean besides MMOs, so Guild Wars doesn't count...

Either Oblivion or Pokemon: Ruby. I caught'em all, and did everything in Oblivion.... twice. Fun times.

Maybe Monster Hunter Freedom 2, and I didn't even get to the highest rank. Game is hard.

Phantasy Star Online on the Dreamcast. I've easily gone over 1000 hours just with my FOmarl, "freeze-it-all" Motoko. And if I can add the different iterations of the game (v2 in the Dreamcast again, Episode I&II on the GC, and Blue Burst on the PC), then I easily go over 2500 hours.

Team Fortress 2, most likely. Most games I play are single player, but TF2 is a rare multiplayer game that I actually like, and because of that I've played a lot of it.

Modern Warfare 2 due to multiplayer. Freedom Fighters due to single player (I literally played until the disk became almost too scratched to play). I love both of those games and the latter still ranks as one of my top 10 all time favorites where it currently sits around 8 or 9.

Second would probably be Oblivion.

Oblivion & GTA:SA (most playtime during 1 session - sometimes nearly 28 hours until I saved and went to bed ^^)

oh and Counterstrike 1.0 ^^
(most total playtime, due to creating own maps and being part of a really obsessed clan that time)

Guild Wars. Sadly, I've logged into over 4,000 hours with a guarantee of at least 2,500 of those hours being me actually playing the game. My laptop would run the game 24/7. Hours racked fast. The course is over three years, I think?

I think it might be Modern Warfare 2, actually (not including WoW). I've never become totally engrossed in any single game (not including WoW).

Devil May Cry 3 have no idea why but I find that game ridiculously entertaining ever since It came out.
