You know the best windows OS I had was ME.
Got the first patch, and had it for 5 years never touching another patch again.

Accidentally downloaded a patch and bang whole thing went to hell. Turned out it was the patch that was releases a month after the first.

Which is interesting, Microsoft seemed to release a product with few flaws. Patched them, and in the next patch destroyed the entire OS so you would buy the new one...

What a marketing idea. Patch your old windows so it is basically destroyed and you buy what? A new version of windows...well till we destroy that one as well.

I use windows 7. Its easy and it works.
Same here. Though when I'm at the university I use Linux, which is fine for me as well.

I just prefer Windows because I'm a PC gamer. :p
I hear a lot of people use Linux, I can't cause I'm computer retarded.

I'm running Windows 7 right now and I like it alot. Once I start college and lean a little more about computers, I'm gonna try t switch over to Linux.

if you asked 2 weeks ago I would have said Ubuntu but recently the frustration rised too high. Linux never crashes? bullshit! Atleast windows showed me a blue screen with white letters when it crashes.

Although windows gives me headache it has more compatability and ... games ^^. rebooting everytime you want to game is just annoying.

I vote windows 7 but only since i cant find anything better...

I love DOS. We used to make choose-your-own-adventure stories in DOS with .bat files.
And back in the day we had to work for our games. We didn't have none of these fancy "icons".
And sometimes you had to make a boot disk just for specific games, or allocate EMS. You better believe that wasn't no click of a button neither!
Hey where are you going? Pay attention when I'm shakin' my cane at you!

My real answer is Windows 7.

Windows 7. I would use Ubuntu, but it's not worth the hassle and lots of programs wouldn't work on it. Plus, Windows 7 has a larger user base.

I like vista, believe it or not.

I don't see what is so bad about it, honestly. I really didn't like XP, but 7 is good.

Windows 7 all the way... it does everything with only a slim chance of crashes, its like having a submarine that has a 99% chance of not leaking, its good until it leaks...

The latest Windows to come with my latest laptop (I travel too much for a desktop to be possible), which is currently Vista. I have no real complaints about Vista, but Windows 7 looks nice!

Windows 7. Would use Linux of some kind, but getting games to run is a *****.

If i did not game then i would be using arch linux which is what i use on my laptop. Its so light, a fresh install is on the command prompt and a few cli applications. However windows 7 is nice for ease of use and gaming. If i did not have both my desktop hard drives nearly full i would probably dual boot.
