Which toy or board game franchise should get a movie next?

I can easily see Cluedo and Guess Who being made in a dark detective noir type of films or possibly quite simple a comedic films. Heck even Buckaroo can be made into a Westen film about a stumbled horse aswell.
Pretty sure Cluedo was already a movie or maybe a TV series?

IMO... They should try coming up with original scripts and stopping basing them off stupid things...

When I heard about Battleships, I thought it was the stupidest idea, ever.

Back in the 90's or possibly 80's there was actually a Clue movie. I don't think it did too well though and, I never really cared for it.

Anyway I think a great movie idea or Hell, even a full-on reboot, would be the game Crossfire. I mean, look at the commercial!

Come on, a movie could easily come out of that!

No wait, "Don't Wake Daddy!" A movie about overcoming parental abuse.
I can see Don't Wake Daddy as an R rated movie about a horribly abusive, dysfunctional family. That's just me though...but it would be an interesting direction to take the game.

Don't Wake Daddy - This is no game

I've heard that Real Steel was actually supposed to be a film adaptation of Rock 'em, Sock 'em Robots! Or... something like that.

Anyway, I think what may be interesting to look at would be a board game that came out a few years back that I obsessed over as a kid called "HeroScape". It was, like, the most epic board game ever. I always wanted to keep Deathwalker 9000 on my team!

I have it sitting right here on my desk. I still have all the pieces and shit to the game as well.

If Hasbro didn't mind not getting too good of an investment return, because I doubt many people would go see them, a lot of the Magic: The Gathering storylines could be good movies.

You could make a police thriller out of Ker-Plunk!
There are people who have to defuse a bomb by removing specific coloured wires. The way the bomb is designed is that it will go off if too many small steel balls are removed from it (which are being held up by the wires). The cops have to remove the wires but not let the balls fall otherwise the hospital gets blown up! The twist ending is that the bomb is actually a destructive alien weapon that was being tested on Earth, the end-credits stinger will show that the aliens are pissed and will be coming to wage war with the human race!

Escapist, I have returned.

Scrabble. I don't know how.
In the dark future where the only way to survive another day is to arrange various letter tiles into good words; one hero dares to stand up to the system. This summer, Nicholas Cage decides to arrange his tiles into a... naughty word!

OT: One of the toughest military groups in the world come across strange alien discs in the ground. When suddenly, aliens attack and begin to reak havoc upon the cities of the earth. The only way to defeat them is to flip the discs onto them with one larger disc. This summmer, Nicholas Cage dares to fight the alien threat in their own game... Tiddlywinks.

Snakes and Ladders.

Set in a construction sit as a sequel to snakes on a plane. It would star Samuel L Jackson and he'd say "I am sick of these motherfucking snakes and these motherfucking ladders!..."

I still think a proper "Battleship" has potential. A movie about 2 nations locked in an epic sea standoff/battle, maybe set it during a previous war. Instead we got fuckin aliens

Lego clearly there are so many places they could take it so it can appeal to everyone and make as much money as possible.

So Battleship and Transformers have both gotten movies, but what do you think would be the next?
Was Battleship actually about the board game, or just the same name?

Pretty sure it wasn't actually based off of it...

OT: Hm...

I'm gonna go with The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow.

That'd be pretty fun.

Failing that, I'd say Risk 2210 AD.

I mean, it's a world wide war, but it also includes THE MOON
