Only games developed by Microsoft are guaranteed exclusives. PS4 will never see the next Halo or Forza, but all the other games are fair play.

The last generation Mass Effect 1, Ninja Gaiden 2, Joe Danger, Spelunky, Braid and Limbo were published by Microsoft. They didn't stay exclusives for long.

I'm sure a lot of these will wind up on other platforms, but the one I'm really hoping for is Quantum Break. I know there is no chance of it coming to the PS4, but Alan Wake was published by Microsoft, but Remedy found a way to get that on Steam, so I feel like there is a chance that Quantum Break finds it way to PC as well.

It is by far the least likely one but it isn't outright impossible.

Well, I certainly hope Dead Rising 3 ends up being a timed exclusive. Even if from the look of it, it seems to have missed the point and tone of the first two...Plus it would be pretty messed up to never have released the first game on PS3, but then released two versions of the second game on PS3, and then back again to not releasing the third game on PS4.

I'm going to say that all the games that aren't in some way connected to Microsoft (and by that I mean from either developers that are owned by MS or games published by MS, not just having a deal with them) are timed exclusives (and even then some might find their way into PC).

wikipedia says the bulk of them are published by MS but I don't think that means anything, especially considering companies like EA and capcom are involved.

Alan Wake eventually made it to PC (A year or two later), so I expect Quantum Break will. I was somewhat surprised about Dead Rising 3 being a XBone exclusive. Especially since the second was on all platforms, so I guess that will eventually get released on other platforms later. There are very few ga,es that were released exclusive on XBox/360 that didn't end up being released on other consoles/PC.

I believe they most likely will stay exclusive.

Ryse without a doubt
Same with Forza
Sunset Overdrive as well (The Game wouldn't exist without Microsoft)
D4 is a Kinect Game (Without Microsoft is likely wouldn't exist)
Crimson Dragon is a definite
Halo 5 is definite
Dead Rising 3 will also probably stay exclusive (however may have a special edition for the PS4 down the line)

Below may well find it's way to steam
Quantum Break as well (although, I believe that Microsoft may very well be funding this one internally so we will see)

First of all why are you putting first party games in there? All the possible timed exclusives are listed in my first post.
Here they are again

Exclusives

Below
Dead Rising 3
Sunset Overdrive
D4
Quantum Break

Not even Exclusives but not on ps4

MineCraft
TitanFall
Zoo Tycoon

Now the only ones you actually commented on are Sunset Overdrive, D4, Quantum Break and Dead Rising 3

Sunset overdrive is a insomniac game, insomniac which is in bed with EA who made a deal with MS. What was the last EA game that was exclusive? I'll give you a hint, it was Mass Effect 2, and it was timed exclusive, so Sunset Overdrive probably is coming to ps4, and what do you mean the game wouldn't exist without MS? It's EA and insomniacs game MS did nothing.

D4 is made by a studio who's every game is a on playstation platform with the except of a wii game. Granted the Kinect features probably mean it suck so much it will bomb and there will be no incentive for it to be ported to other platforms.

Quantum Break is made by remedy which is practically a 2ed party to MS so it probably won't end up on ps4 but you never know there were plenty of unlikely games that wiggled their way through last gen.

And now for Dead Rising 3, this thing is made by capcom, it's second game was a multiplat, it's first game was almost a timed exclusive. This thing is timed exclusive even you piratically said it, a special edition for ps4 doesn't make the game stay exclusive it makes it multiplat with ps4 getting extra content.

Dead Rising 3 was obviously made with the Wii U in mind, so that's definitely going to be multiplatform.
Um what?
Hes talking about the missions that require a Microsoft iPad to access.

Sunset Overdrive is an insomniac game whose exclusivity was paid for by Microsoft. Insomniac is independent now and Microsoft most likely owns the Sunset Overdrive IP. EA has NOTHING to do with Sunset Overdrive. It will see a PC port at most.

D4 is being made by Access yes, but if a game is paid for by a company, then it's most likely will stay exclusive to them. Swery has come right out and said it will be an Xbox exclusive. Despite being a Kinect game, it will not bomb. Because A) YOu can use a controller as well and B)It's made by Swery, the most cult video game maker currently in existence.

Dead Rising 3 is very likely going to be a timed exclusive, sure. I actually agree with you there. It's Capcom as you said.

There is no chance in high hell quantum break will head to PS4. It's Remedy, it will get a PC release at most.

Titanfall for sure.

In an interview with AngryJoe the lead dev (i think) said to joe, when he asked if it would come out for PS4, "i can't comment on that" so that's a yes.

Dead Rising 3 probably, since 2 is availible on steam (couldn't find 1 though) Although Halo 3/4/reach never came out while 1/2 did that is still a bit uncertain. But this is capcom not M$.

-MS doesn't pay for exclusives they pay for timed exclusives. I also doubt EA has nothing to do with it.

-Again MS doesn't pay for exclusives they pay for timed exclusives. MS "paying" for a game means nothing last gen timed exclusive proves that.

-Finally some logic lol

-Bottom line Remedy isn't owned by MS, sure it's the least likely one but it's possible.

Watch the trailer again. Look who the publisher is. Sunset isn't going anywhere.
Microsoft Studios.

As long as they remember that Microsoft also owns Windows, Sunset Overdrive might not stay on Xbone forever.
You two do realize like half a dozen games published by MS came to ps3 last gen right?

Microsoft doesn't pay for exclusives? Um ok. I assume you know this completely right? They have invested roughly $1Billion in next gen games, so I assume they have some Exclusives. The reason that Microsoft AAA exclusives game over to PS3 was not about timed exclusivity deals, but the fact that the rights to the game was bought by a different publisher.
Mass Effect only came to PS3 this year because EA bought the rights to the first game.

"Finally some logic lol" - I'd hardly describe agreeing with you as logic, it seems to a be an exception, not a rule.

Bottom line, Microsoft has invested a sh*t-ton of money in next gen games, maybe even more than sony, so you better believe that some will be exclusives.

The safest bet would be the below titles published by MS Studios will be exclusive to One and perhaps PC:
Below
Dead Rising 3
Sunset Overdrive
D4
Quantum Break

Below, Dead Rising 3 and Quantum Break, I think would be the most likely to show up on PC, just because those devs have previously released PC games.

As far as I'm aware there has only been 2 MS Studio titles to get a release on other platforms? NG2 (heavily reworked) and ME1 (franchise bought out by EA). It's definitely a possibility but there have also been third party devs (that have published for other platforms)that have kept a title or series exclusive since release.

Definitely expecting Titan Fall and Minecraft to show up on PS4 (maybe even WiiU Minecraft?).

Only their first party games are exclusives for sure, everything else aside from remedy's game has at least a 50/50 chance of coming to ps4 and who knows where that 1billion actually went or what MS is counting, they could be counting all the studios they built/bought a few years ago or their advertising budget ect. Bottom line last gen pretty much every "exclusive" MS paid for ended up on ps3, with the exception of lost odyssey and blue dragon, even if they have one or two that actually are exclusive there's still going to be several timed exclusives because that's how MS does business lie to and screw over the consumer.

You do realize I couldn't care less if it gets to Playstation, right?

You do also realize that it's much more likely for Microsoft Studios to let Sunset Overdrive come to Windows than it is for them to let Insomniac get another publisher to bring the game to PS4, right?
Why would I realize that? This topic is about timed exclusives MS is paying to keep off ps4 for a year or whatever. You do realize MS it's much more likely MS doesn't have as much of a say in it as they are leading people to believe right?

I sincerely doubt it, Dead Rising is a Capcom game and technically being published by MS, why the hell is that? I think MS is just manipulating things so it looks like they have more say over the games then they actually do, by them publishing it as part of the timed exclusive deal but not actually holding the rights. I say this because nearly every single potential timed exclusive is published by MS and while several games last gen that were published by MS went to ps3 the majority of timed exclusives weren't, I think MS just wants people to doubt that the timed exclusives are timed exclusives and that's why they are listed as the publishers.
