A policeman, as im on shift as a special constable that weekend.

Oh how much more fun it is when we have to add "dressed as a vampire" to the police report.

well i wanted to go as the inquisitor from red dwarf but getting the helmet made was a bit too pricey.

That's a shame. Then again, you could always do what this brave man whom I photographed at Supanova did.

Going as totheark from marble hornets myself. Easy and cheap to make, and it looks pretty neat.

A companion cube. I'm going to a party with my boyfriend and his friends, and I know for a while I'm going to be known as "Drew's girlfriend" so I thought I'd make a joke about it in the nerdiest way imaginable.

I really have no idea, which saddens me a bit. I love Halloween. Anyone have a costume idea for a 179 cm girl with blue hair?

I love Halloween.

I'm gonna dress up as a witch, hand out great candy to deserving kids (I already have a plastic pumpkin bucket of the stuff), read creepypasta and watch scary films all night yay.

*runs around all hyper*

I most likely won't be dressing up this year, but if i was, i'd love to go as one of these guys...

The last time i dressed up for halloween though was a couple years back for a party and i went as a zombie.

That said, i think Halloween is an atrocious holiday and an American export that really has little place in the UK - or Europe as a whole - and is nothing but an excuse for young people to act like little hoodlums.

./over 20 rant
Halloween was always pretty big in Ireland. "Jack O' Lantern" comes from a story about Stingy Jack.

My parents would have carved turnips, but we carve pumpkins. Americanisation! We also have the delicious barmbrack!

You put a ring in it and whoever finds it has good luck for a year.

As for my costume, I'm flying Ryanair to Edinburgh, and I need to bring a tux with me anyway. So probably James Bond.

Zombie James Bond.

Pirate unicorn.

Why? Because I can.

Okay because everyone was going for pirates and wenches in my major friend group and I said I wanted to be a unicorn, didn't take long for the ideas to merge.

A zombie Admiral Nelson.

I was thinking of going as a green army man from Toy Story, but I couldn't get the American GI webbing (or olive paint) in time. Maybe next year for that.
