I haven't bought it yet.

I'm replaying the series now to see if it still interests me enough to see it to it's conclusion(or there lack of, from what I'm hearing). I'll make my final decision about it once I beat Godzilla Terminator again.

I haven't picked it up yet because I never got around to playing the first two to any real degree (I'd played ME1 up to the first mission on with the Rachnos probably three times prior)

By the time I decided to seriously look into them ME3 had already been announced so I figured I'd just play them all through back to back once it was released. I'm about 2/3 through ME2 at the moment.

I was hoping I would be able to just buy all three on Steam but I guess Origin put a monkey wrench in that plan.

Watched my friend do a play through for the first few hours of the game. It was 3/4 cut scenes, 1/4 game play. And some of the cut scenes were just irritating due to plot induced stupidity, introducing the method to destroy the reapers way too early, and just me and my friend shouting at the TV to just fucking shoot the damn girl/robot already. Suffice to say, that was more than enough to put me off the series.

Becuase bioware no longer exists. Its only EA now. And everyone knows that whatever EA touches turns to ash.

I didn't get it and probably never will...Not that I have a problem with the ME series but for one, I won't buy out of principle for the day-one DLC. Most importantly, I will never give EA my credit card info on Origin.

A) I have absolutely no money

B) I want to wait until I get every person to survive the ME 2 ending. (this one is super annoying because I have the loyalty of everyone but I just can't seem to get it so everyone survives.)
If you have everyone's loyalty, you just need to send the right people on the right jobs. A leader to lead the squads (think of who has leadership experience), a good hacker for the pipes (who on the team can hack well?) and a strong biotic for the bubble (who on the team are the strongest biotics?).

I didn't buy it and as of right now don't really know if I ever will. There are several reasons
1. origin, it has problems. it slows down my PC, it dosen't get along with some of my other programs, it crashes and it rooted itself way too deep into my PC. Although it will probably get better over time.
2. day one dlc thing. it has EA's greedy fingerprints all over it, it was obviously developet along side with the game probably even as a part of the game and at some point it was just cut and made dlc.
3. and then there is the ending (I have seen the videos) it's really bad, I kinda see what they were going for and any of those endings would have worked great as a book ending or even as a movie ending but not as a game ending,
4. Tali. it actually didn't bother me that much but my gf is really into Tali she wanted to romance her already in ME1 and after she saw the photo and the original I could see how the enthusiasm to play ME3 just poored out of her.

Oh me! Pick me! I didn't buy it!
But then again, I have only played 3-4 hours of ME1 and have not touched ME2 yet.
I intend to play them all when I am done playing all the other games I own that I have not completely beaten. I'll just borrow them from my older brother who has bought them all.

That reminds me... He should be near the ending by now. I'll have to see how he reacts to the ending :D

From what I've heard, ME3 is an amazing game.. until you play through the ending, when apparently it seems as though your decisions throughout the game have had literally no impact on the outcome.

Although I'd like to play it, there are numerous other games I'm more interested in, so buying ME3 isn't exactly high on my priorities list. Maybe one day, though.

played ME1 countless times, even the mako sections. loved that game.

played ME2 once or twice, a good game but an awful sequel (NOTHING HAPPENED PLOTWISE GODDAMNIT!). didnt want to replay it nearly as much, all the little attempts to move away from RPG and to gears of war were always niggling at me.

played dragon age 2. returned it and swore to never again buy a bioware game on day one.

never bought ME3. my friend did, and he was massively disappointed. i borrowed it and saw why. i wasnt nearly as disappointed because it was pretty much what i was expecting. bioware could barely pull off the ending to this series on their best day, but with the obvious shift to action and forced multiplayer? the on-disc DLC and origin bullshit? i knew since ME2 that the end of the series was going to be a disaster, but DAMN has it been worse than i ever could have imagined. glad to see that so many people arent just going to sit back and say "they can do whatever they want with THEIR game(which we bought and funded and financially supported loyally for years)". some of the magpies still cling fanatically to bioware's shiny coattails, but the shift has already begun; people arent just going to mindlessly accept all the bullshit hoops you have to go through to get a game that flat out used false advertising anymore.

I was interested in buying it, but after seeing some backlash and such, I'm glad that I didn't fork out for a brand new copy, I'll probably bend for a pre-owned one when the price drops.
Still looking forward to giving it a go, mind.
Yeah it's actually a brilliant game up until the ending...<.<

OT: Nope... though my roommate bought it so I played it anyway...

I haven't got it yet for a couple of reasons.

I liked ME1 but didn't like ME2 much at all so there was little excitement to carry me over.

It is currently broken for PC, I'm not playing it until I can import my carry over characters, and that includes their face.

I don't think it will be worth full retail.

I have tried to avoid spoilers but I heard that...
...the Rachni turn up no matter what choice you make in ME1.
That just left me feeling, what is the point?

Nope, I liked 1 and 2 but luckily things got financially tight on my end and figured I would be coming in to the party next week. Now, I won't be. I'll wait until Mass Effect 3 (Complete Edition) comes out. I spoiled the hell out of the entire content because I heard bad things and couldn't resist. So glad I did. I won't be picking it up for a while.

I have no problem saying I bought it. Ya the ending was not everything I hoped for but at least for me the last 30 min or so does not change my opinion of the around 40 hours I spent on it.

I haven't bought it... ... ... Yet. I will in a few weeks, and I'll even pick up the $10 DLC, if for no other reason than it'll cause people to rage, and I'll laugh and laugh.
