Between the three that do similar content (Pewdiepie, Markiplier and Jacksepticeye) I only like Jack. I like his Irish accent, I like his humour most of the time, and he seems more genuine. Mark and Pewdiepie feel like they're putting on a dumb character for their videos, plus I can't stand their voices for some reason.

It took me until I started liking Jack that I understood why people might like Pewdie or Mark. Though I still only watch Jack's content.

Haven't seen any of his stuff really, and not particularly inclined to chase it up. I watch enough stuff as-is (Achievement Hunter, Markiplier, assorted livestreams, Gamegrumps) and it's hard enough keeping up with all them, so I'd rather not throw another dude who does constant updates into that mix.

Nothing against the guy though.

I remember when I found out that my mom's sister, her husband, and their two kids were part of the Bro Army... I even witness their [short-lived] YouTube-viewing night of just watch the leader of the Bro Army play some Outlast, I think... A month later, I saw him play Catherine... And that's where my Bro-filled anecdote ends...

Other than that, I liked his appearance(s) on late night television... Really wished he did stand-up on one of them since he was listed as a comedian, but that's just me and that video OP hot-linked did kinda help fill the void after so many months...

I thought heresy was not liking him? Guy has 45 million subs. Can't think of any other YouTuber with that many.

Think about it this way. Chaos too has uncountable followers. We're supposed to be the Imperium of the Internet.


Personally, I find PewDiePie's persona insufferable and saw like three videos before I had enough for life, but the guy seems alright. The only gaming youtubers I like are Trinimmortal (which I find weird myself because I can't stand most animes but the guy has this weird screaming charm that make me watch), MagikarpUsedFly (I love self-depreciative humor) and... that's it, really. BrickyOrchid too, I guess, but I don't see much of him to have an opinion.

[Yes, all of these have mainly LoL content, I usually only see youtube gaming if it's E-sports of sort]

I like him when he's not screechy. He can get hilariously deadpan sometimes if you ask me. But there's too much screechy toddler-esque random bullshit for me to sub to him.

And as a person he's actually great apparently. People love working with him, he's very supportive of charity, great with his fans apparently.

You don't like Markiplier's voice?! Say what you will about his content, but that voice is made out of chocolate angels.

I never really got the point of lets play videos since I would rather just go try the game myself. I guess if you want to take in the story you might watch one but then I don't think you would want much commentary for that sorta thing either. I dunno not my thing but clearly people like his content so I mean good for him you gotta respect that he makes a lot of people happy.

I used to like his videos, and I used to like the guy. I don't like his videos anymore, but I'm still subbed to him, simply because I like the guy and what he does.

I don't see any reason to hate the guy. To quote Super Bunnyhop [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LFxWbvXFUY], he's the YouTube-generations version of Jackass or Tom Green.

I quite enjoyed his playthroughs of whatever the last Quantic Dream was, and Alien Isolation. So yeah, guess I'm a bit of a heretic.
