Well yes, but you asked for PC elitists to strut their stuff
Did you have this kind of moment?

You paired a biostar motherboard up with a GTX680? Why? They're bargain basement boards that do not have a reputation for reliability.ChaoticLegion said:PC Gaming Master Race Elite reporting in:

Clearly, your laptop is basically Superman. I doubt my rig would be able to shrug off a can of soda.TehCookie said:I have a '98 Compaq laptop, 3 gig harddrive and a whole 32mb of ram. I took a soda to the keyboard and still works like a charm, how many laptop owners can say that?
That picture is an accurate representation of the quivering fear that ensued after reading only a portion of your specs.ResonanceSD said:Vlunce Crociata said:Holy embodiment of intensity. That makes my laptop look like a lamp.

Very similar to mine what did you think of the Board? I loved the way it covers up most of it.Silvianoshei said:OS: Win 7 Ultimate

It does look sick, but functionality wise some connectors are hard to get to. I have big hands, so that could just be a personal problem. As far as it being "thermal armor" I have a pretty solid liquid cooling system (h100, totally forgot to list that) so I can't really say for certain how well it works. That said, I'm afraid to OC past 4.5 on an ivy bridge. It's ok, because the performance is just fine @ 4.5, but I could push my old 2600k to 4.8 on the same rig. It's only really good for benchmarking purposes, in games or running simulations in R you cannot tell the difference.xTc212 said:Very similar to mine what did you think of the Board? yeah I have an h80 on mine overclocked to 4.4, the x.m.p profiles made it so easy to set the ram up alsoSilvianoshei said:It does look sick, but functionality wise some connectors are hard to get to. I consider it fairly above average, when I built it the gtx 580 was the most powerful single gpu graphics card so back then it was well above average.
I love the idea of watercooling and case mods so I'd use it even if I didn't overclock.
The highest I got my 2700k to was 5.22Ghz but it was 100% stable, I've yet to have a problem with it at 4.8Ghz.
The GPUs are pretty close to their limit, atleast with my current cooling solution.
I haven't run into a game yet that I can't max with all options including the highest AA, pretty much when I load up a game, I go to the options and max every slider, setting and drop down menu lol.

Also there's no better feeling then maxing out all the settings on a brand new high end pc game, its the only reason i bought shattered horizons and most crysis games
