Not much to sneeze at, but she's my baby:

Hostname: Asimov
OS: Ubuntu 12.10 (dual booted w/ Windows 7 for games)
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500k @ stock speed (3.3 GHz)
RAM: 8 GB
GPU: ATI Raedon HD 6870
Drive: 1 TB HDD

I've been meaning to overclock her, but it keeps slipping my mind.

Overclocking is something i only do to my systems once they no longer have the "grunt" to do what i want them to.

I see it as a way to elongate the use life of mys sytems once there to low powered to do the job i assign to them and overclocking before that moment arises is kind of pointless outside a l33tizm exercise.

Mine is nothing to brag about actually and I know full well that my specs are medium range since I've been using this computer for the past 2-3 years when I first bought it. Now with that said:

OS: Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500k stock speed 3.3Ghz
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz DDR3
GPU: MSI GTX 560 Ti Hawk 1GB DDR5 256-bit
MoBo: ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3
Case: Cooler Master HAF 922 black
Cooler: Noctua NH-D14
Power Supply: Corsair TX650W
Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 940N (way too outdated but I'm poor to upgrade and I'll use it 'till it dies)
Keyboard: Logitech standard (old keyboard with PS2 port)
Mouse: SteelSeries Diablo III
Headphones: SteelSeries 5H v2

I might need help in the future since the only thing I haven't upgraded when I bought this PC was the monitor and I haven't bought a new one in 6 years. Kinda out of date with the "current meta" let's say in terms of 1080p screens.

What you guys think. Are these specs gonna be enough to run medium-high range games for the next future years? Or I might need to upgrade something (if yes, then what). Specifically interested due to Witcher 3 coming out next year.
