Considering TellTale's Record with Sam and Max, Strong Bad and Wallace and Gromit(so far), I'd trust them with pretty much any adventure game series.

Particularity since they care, as opposed to Lucasarts and Sierra who used to own the Genre and then decided it would be more profitable to dump on the fans who made them great.

I've wanted to get my hands on the older monkey islands for sometime now. Shame lucas arts locks their shit down so tight. This is good news.

Edit* How come in 09 they can't just make one game called Monkey Island, and have all of them on one disc. o.0 (ignores the obvious answer..but it would be nice.)

I'm very happy to hear they are not only making a brand new Monkey Island game (which looks meh, but better then 4) and....

....is where I stopped reading......... I have already checked outside, and the world isnt ending......yet...... I will continue to monitor it untill the games release.......

haha no it's not ending yet. wait for the day george decides never to do another star wars game again. Yeah a new monkey island! though still not in the 2D we know and love. Also look out for the special edition of the first game. It's remade with new art and voices, yet built on top of the classic. In fact you can push a single button and switch between the two instantly.
