I say that it's more of their legacy dying. Imagine your favorite musician dying, and you never got a chance to see him (again) and his music will never continue. Depends however on how much music and that kind of stuff matters to you. I love music and don't want to think about when my idols die.unabomberman said:Meh. Real Men don't cry...
In all seriousness, we don't know these people so other than getting a little bummed I'd not be overcome by emotion if, say, Julio Cesar Chavez died, and he is BIG over here.
I'm not basing or anything, I just don't get how people could get so emotional about a celebrity, or a star that died. On the other hand, I could see that happening if certain heads of social movements bit the dust a little too early(Martin Luther King, Gandhi, etc.).
kurts dead.. but not pac. pac never diesJazoni89 said:um.... Freddy mercury, Tupac and Kurt cobain
What!!! they are already dead!!!
*faints*
Well, that is a good argument and it is indeed up to however you interpret things. But in my case my favorite musicians are either dead or old, so I'm actually expecting it to happen any day now... ...yes, I'm a cranky old man in spirit.crazyhaircut94 said:I say that it's more of their legacy dying. as a plus point, an icon dying before their time becomes a Martyr for generations to come with no input from what they do, what with being dead!.crazyhaircut94 said:I say that it's more of their legacy dying. No, really. I don't cry.Evil Jak said:Oh Monkfish, I dont believe that. When it actually happens you will see how wrong you were, you may hope you didnt cry because you will... ALOT... and it sucks, for days, weeks, months, years after the death of a truly loved one you will still cry about it.Monkfish Acc. said:No one.
Then again, I wouldn't cry if my mother died.
I just don't do crying.
I used to think like you, I was wrong.
