Yeah, but Blizzard take so long to release their games because they wanna make sure they're perfect, and there's nothing wrong with that. People just need to be patient.
heres something that bugged the hell out of me about blizzard... how many expansions have they made for wow??

You are crazy. Seriously WCIII was a great series. WoW was even more amazing, as much as I dislike the game I respect them for having over 11 MILLION people playing it. Well the people who play WoW like MMOs, because WoW is an MMO. They made lots of money because they knew how to polish their products and make them great. I used to love Blizzard, now I don't really care anymore.
The RTS they used to make were great, but now they're totally focused on their MMO money machine and I don't care for those. And some of their decisions regarding Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 made me not look forward to these games. So, I don't hate them, but I don't like them anymore, either.

Because the squeaky wheel gets the grease. There are times to listen to the vocal minority, and times to ignore it. When it's about video game developers making money off of a series, or taking too long to make a new product, that's when you ignore them. They're just people pumping their tiny fists and becoming blue in the fact because a video game company does something they don't like. Ignore them. Blizzard is a great company, even though I haven't bought or played any of their games since Diablo 2. Still, Warcraft 1 and 2, Starcraft, and Diablo 1 and 2 have made me perfectly happy with Blizzard. I'm not a fan of MMO's at all, but I'm still looking forward to Diablo 3. I am annoyed that they decided to break Starcraft 2 into 3 parts, and I probably won't be buying it because of that. I've read their explanation that they want it in three parts so they can make three completely unique, full campaigns, but Starcraft did that and it didn't feel rushed or incomplete in the least. Each campaign was completely different, grew incredibly difficult, and was amazing to play. If they give all three races a 30 mission campaign I think it'll be overdoing it and it will end up getting boring. Still, I see no reason for hating them, they're a business, they make money, they make great and popular games. They don't always make the games I would like them to, but that's slightly irritating, not something that keeps me from sleeping at night. I think some people need to realize that games and the internet aren't the most important things in the world, and if they want to vent anger there are far more viable issues.
People realize that Blizzard is in the business of making money, and to some people, that just offends their sensibilities.
Personally, I think Blizzard is one of the best companies out there. In fact, it will probably be the first company I invest in, what with the steady income and upcoming releases. Say what you want, Blizzard consistantly produces a good product.
I've liked every game they've made, with the sole exception of the original Diablo. Deserved the name, I couldn't sleep properly for a week(music was really eerie). And whatever problems it may have, WoW is still a good game, and the standard to which all other MMOs are held.

1) Starcraft is only awesome because it has a story that WORKS and was well written
2) I don't hate Blizzard, i just hate some of the shit they've done. I'm sorry but when you allow people to kill 2 of your main storyline characters (Illidan and Arthas) you can go right ahead and fuck off.

Well it's not only the MMO hate...but paying attention only to the WoW is just f-ing retartded...I mean they dellayed so many projects and cancelled others...I just can't forgive them
I don't hate blizzard. I just hate what they have done to their games. Starcraft is fine, good story, a bit to much grind for me but hey im not the only person who they make games for me. For Diablo i say the same thing, good story but is struggle to play it, i am so sick of killing the same thousand monsters all over AGAIN. Its Warcraft that makes me sad. Why did they have to make WOW. Why all the grind! Why does Blizzard insist on having me pay so much money. Why is Starcraft 2 going to be in three parts? Why is it that i swear every time i play a Blizzard game i swear ive seen all this done before (not that i mind, they do a good job of it)?

Well I dont like Blizzard because they seem not to be able to do anything right recently, or at least i think so, i think they are ruining starcraft 2, no lan and having to buy all 3 campains sepertly is BS, loved the first one and warcraft, that is untill WoW, I think they destroyed the story behind it, i think they have just gotten to greedy and want to put as little effort into their games as they can and still sell them, i mean at this point they could pump out a WoW expantion that only gave you one new area and a stick to play with and people would buy it, but thats only what i think
Um, I believe that it's because Blizzard is ruining the video gaming industry, but siezeing lots of the gamers from around the globe and sticking them into a never ending, ridiculously repetative video game. The same thing is happening to the writers industry with twilight/harry potter. Because less and less books are being sold by other authors.
